Ok, a quick pro.They are very dense, and it's taken my dog about 15 hours to get through one vs three hours like a normal chew.They don't come apart in big chunks as claimed. SO I assume, healthy enough to eat. In fact, in spite of the cost I might even love these....HOWEVER. All of this is utterly eclipsed by how utterly and horrifically rank they become after the first 10 minutes of chewing.I don't mean 'oh, I live in a nice apartment and a little pig-ear smell on my Berber carpets offends me' stink.I live in the country, I raise livestock, and this is a " Oh Holy heck did the dog bring a dead possum and hide it behind the couch?!!" level of rankNasty, breathe-through-your-mouth-not-enough-febreeze-in-the-world levels of stank. And it LINGERED after the chews had been eaten.I advise these for out-door kennels and hunting trips only dog entertainment if you don't want to be sleeping on the couch.

First off, I tried twice to reply to your email but Amazon blocked it for some reason. Ok, moving forward. I never complain about anything but I would be remiss if I didn't on this purchase. As you know, I have purchased from you several times before and always been satisfied. I have to admit I am less than impressed with the ring version of this compressed rawhide. I already took one away from her that she had chewed about half way. It was just falling apart in chunks and if I was not watching her she would have swallowed them whole. I will be sticking with either the stick variety or bone variety. Those 2 I like and have not had the issue like I had with the rings. Those I will never purchase again.Thanks!Stephanie Overby

I have bought these ring rawhide treats 3 times now, and have been very happy and satisfied with the qualityand size of these rings. I have a Brittany who lives to chew, and a Chessie who loves to have a bone to chew, but also to walk around with it in her mouth, likke its her coveted prize. Yes, they cost 30$ for five, but I give them a treat for 30 mins max than save for the next day. So they last. NO upset tummy, NO diahrea, No stink, and happy busy dogs.I have tried so many, but these are my dogs Fav!

I love my Golden Retrievers and love to spoil them. They love these things. Retriever rolls take minutes for them to eat, this takes them hours. If you have Golden's, you know how clingy they can be... I love them but need some time with my wife on the occasion, you know? Give the dogs these and they get a treat, I get a moment of peace, and my wife can have my undivided attention until the dogs finish their treat.One note- they do stink when wet. The dogs love them. Doesn't bother me so long as they don't get their smelly drool all over the carpet.

Still 5-star from our hound. These are his favoriteLaszlo just got these today. So far he thinks they are great. He chewed it until we took it away. Laszlo is a 65+lbs hound dog and loves the round shape.We received our second subscription shipment from Amazon of these ring chews. They are still Laszlo's favorite. He has another rawhide with a knot, doesn't care for it so much. Very happy with this product.

The first one my puppy had was from the top of the bag was ok puppy took about 4 hours to destroy it, the 2nd one she wouldn't touch . when I looked at it I noticed it wasn't the same texture or smell, it was chalkie and had a foul smell I set that to the side and dumped the rest out she took one out but wanted nothing to do with the rest. Either they mixed old and newer together or a good batch and a bad batch. They won't be getting me back as a customer.

My labs both love to chew and both love tug o war so I thought this would be ideal and hopefully they would last more than a couple of hours. The dogs loved them, had a great time chasing each other each trying to get the others rawhide ring but then they got down to chewing and these did not make it through an afternoon. Have to downgrade from a five because in my opinion the treats are very expensive for a couple of hours of chewing. If your dog is not a big chewer then it’ll probably be awesome for him or her.

This are made well. I think for the average dog they would be great and long lasting. I have an English bulldog that is a ridiculous power chewer. These lasted but because I would only let her have them for a limited time each day. I feel they are way better than anything you can buy in a stor. Plus I don't buy anything not made in usa.
