Swig SavvySports Water Bottle, Vacuum Insulated Stainless steel, Double Wall Wide Mouth Leakproof Lid - 18oz (Blue)

Really like the overall product, but 18 ounces is a bit small. I need a larger container to last all day at work.

I received the Swig Savvy Stainless Steel Thermos Water bottle a few days ago and I put it to use today as a part of my lunch pack. I made tea with hot boiling water at about 11 AM directly in the thermos bottle using a tea ball and I closed the cap. I put the thermos bottle into an insulated cover I had for a Nalgene polycarbonate water bottle. I took off at about 12:30 PM on my motorcycle to work. My lunch pack and the thermos bottle was mounted on my rear seat in the wind. At work, the customer had cancelled the appointment I had today, so I ate my lunch there at 2:30 PM or so. I poured the tea out of the thermos bottle into a silicone rubber collapsible cup [An important point about thermos bottles: Never drink directly out of a thermos bottle unless you know the temperature of the liquid inside for sure. You can be burned by boiling hot liquid, or your mouth can be frozen by the below-freezing liquid. In the old days, the caps of every thermos bottle were also cups you can drink out of, but new ones do not have this feature. Get a collapsible cup. Amazon has many kinds of them for a few dollars. Also, make sure to wash the thermos bottle before using it. It can have machining oils and other materials stuck to its inner surface. The one I received was looking very clean. I washed it anyway.] The tea was still boiling hot, I had to cool it in the collapsible cup before drinking it. I packed up and started for home on my motorcycle at about 3:30 PM and I came home at about 5 PM. I poured the rest of the tea into a cup from the thermos bottle, and tasted it. It was just cool enough to drink it. In summary, the thermos bottle works very well, especially in an insulating soft bottle cover which also prevents any damage to its nice surface finish.

My kids are always losing the lids to their water bottles. This one stays attached. I also like the wide mouth, makes it easy to wash in the dishwasher.

It is a widemouth container with a screw off lid. Would be good for taking a cold drink to a picnic and pouring the liquid into a cup. The plastic lid is attached to the bottle with a stiff plastic piece. To pour or drink, that has to be held carefully away from the opening or it interferes. The opening is threaded stainless steel, where the lid screws on, not really easy or pleasant to drink from. Also a bit time consuming, since one has to unscrew the lid, tuck it under your fingers so it doesn't get in the way, and then carefully maneuver your mouth to the liquid.I feel I have to keep it, as it is my own fault for ordering the wrong thing. But I can't figure out what to do with it. Too small to use as a thermos. Too heavy to walk with. Too inconvenient for drinking to use as a water bottle.

I bought this because I needed something to keep at my desk at work to remind me to keep hydrated. It works just fine for me so far, but I will likely not be using it in extreme conditions (out all day when it is hot weather, etc.). The only thing that would improve it for my usage is to have a easier-access drinking spout, but the company does have them for separate purchase. The top it comes with would be unwieldy for a child to use—I found this bottle when I was doing a search for my kid to take to camp and decided to get him a different model that came with an easier-to-use top.

As advertised: it kept ice water cold through 85 F degree weather, overnight and into the next day. It is difficult for me to open the cap, though, and the mouth of the bottle is a little bit too wide for me to take a fast drink from it. Liquid spills out onto my face unless I drink slowly and carefully. I think 1/4 to 1/2 inch narrower would still allow easy filling with ice cubes and make it easier to drink without giving the process 100% of my attention. I have been using this for about 2 weeks now.

Swig Savvy Thermoses are the best, great buy, great price. I have 64 oz , 40 oz and 8 oz thermoses. Every one of them keeps contents cold and hot for hours to days. On a regular basis, I make juices and store them in my thermoses because they seal well and preserve longer than any other thermos or glass bottles. The quality of the thermoses has been consistently outstanding. I had a situation where I had to deal with the company, they were amazingly helpful and responded immediately with integrity and patience. I highly recommend these thermoses. I am adding more to my collection.

Excellent product. It keeps very cold water very cold for as long as has been needed, which so far is 12 hours but I suspect it would do the job for much longer. Looks good too. Would be nice to have the spout lid as standard with it.

I Initially purchased one for our Tandem, But when it arrived and I used it I immediately bought a second! On a hot tour of France this summer our drinks were warm in the heat, using our normal water bottles.These bottles feel like qualityGreat robust product - Look good and should give years of use.

Light, smart and fun to carry - this is a cool looking bottle (everyone admores it and asks where its from) that has also kept my water cold even after having left the bottle in my car on very sunny day. I prefer the wide mouth to the slim Chilly product so i can also put bits of friuit or ice in and then use one of the variety mouthpieces Swig Savvy tops! I hope you enjoy it as much as i do!

Botella bastante buena, pero se ha oxidado sólo después de 3 usos, en el exterior. Al ser el modelo color acero natural por fuera, no lleva la capa de pintura y entonces es más sensible a la oxidación. Tengo que decir que no la deje nunca en remojo, y tengo dos otras botellas de otras marcas con las cuales no me ha pasado. Claramente el acero es de mala calidad, o al menos el tratamiento externo está mal hecho.

Sicuramente un ottima soluzione per bevande calde e fredde.Buono il gripBello il coloreUnico neo forse la bocca un po' larga che non agevola le "bevute in movimento" o meglio usare un bicchiere. Comunque la uso per avere meno plastica in giro
