Two well made ceramic egg trays, perfectly good for deviled eggs, but I'm using them as watercolor paint palettes, holding 24 different colors and using the center area to mix colors. Watercolor artists love a ceramic surface as the paint smoothly grips that surface to see the exact hue being mixed and doesn't bead up like a plastic palette does. It also cleans up without staining. These platters are smaller than many others on the market, but I love the size because they fit on my worktable without taking up extra valuable space. These are much bigger than the flower shaped palettes found in most art stores and hold a lot more paints. I was originally apprehensive about possible breakage during delivery, as Amazon put them in a padded envelope, but the manufacturer had packaged the platters in a box and padded them very well. Mine arrived in perfect shape.

This is a beautiful little set perfect for my deviled eggs at the Thanksgiving and Christmas table this holiday season. As other reviews have noted it is a little on the small side but I think that's helpful when it's sharing real estate on the lazy Susan.

While I’m sure this is a perfect deviled egg tray, my friend and I bought this set (and each took one!) to use as a palette tray for watercolors! Works great, and the price point was perfect!

The wells are deep enough for mixing without sloshing and the center can be used for color mixing. Ceramic is easier to clean than plastic and true ceramic paint palettes can be expensive.This would also make a nice egg platter because of how heavy and well finished it is.

The size of the indentation where you put the deviled egg is very small. My deviled eggs were too large for this to be useful. Maybe quail eggs would work?

I really like that they were smaller in size. Easy to store and transport. I would use medium instead of large sized eggs next time. It might make them easier to get out of the tray. I also used them to transport and display chocolate dipped strawberries.. It looks nice but I found the chocolate sticks to the plate. I would let the chocolate dry on parchment paper first, then place in tray.

Easy to put in dishwasher. Very sturdy white ceramic.

These are great when making different flavors of deviled eggs. Came with two plates. Small and compact so they don’t take lots of space in the buffet table.

I love these, super cute, will go nice on both ends of the Christmas dinner table: smaller than I expected but probably for the best.. who wants a giant plate of eggs on the dinner table anyway.

Little disappointed by these, they are off white rather than paper white so if you are going to use them for mixing watercolour be warned.Also, on mine, the outer rim of each egg shape has a smooth little bump in inconsistent places which I suspect is a feature of the glazing process - but when covered with eggs you’re not going to notice.Packaged really well as with all Chinese ceramics.
