Look better in person
Love em, I got si many compliments and inquiries about where did I buy them at. Their perfect and fit true to size. If you had larger calfs, the shaft has a good amt of stretch to them. Very well made. No smell. The younger folks lived them as well. Their a great style for young and old

Get your regular size!
Based on the size chart, I ordered what should have fit my foot length. However, it was about a half size too small. I normally wear a 10, and I probably could have gotten away with that size. I have medium width feet and they did fit width-wize. I don't have a high arch, but if you do, these *may* be a little tight, but probably would be fine if you get your normal size. I got the smaller size because of other reviews, but for the patent black boot, get your normal size. Also, I have thicker calves and can generally wear regular cut calf boots. However, the material is stretchy and definitely fits like a glove, so wider calves may work. I do have chunky thighs though, and I could barely get this over my knee - kinda looked like a busted can of biscuits but like, a cute one? However, all that being said I would have kept them and only pulled them up to my knee if they fit my foot length.Thoughts on the style... Definitely a flashback to the 90s but I was using them for a Rocky Horror party goer outfit and so they would have been fine for that.Thoughts on the heel height... I have a bad right knee and bad left ankle, and these felt comfortable and stable. I could have worn these all night if they fit.Thoughts on warmth... This is like a sweater for your leg, so I would not wear these in summer or even a milder fall day.My advice - get your regular size and have no regrets!

A little small in my opinion.
I ordered these in my average size (8.5) and I found them to be a little narrow and a bit short in the toe box as well. They're also way too tight on my thighs to look good on me which I figured might be the case. I'm a size medium with fuller thighs. I could have potentially exchanged these for a 9 and worn them rolled down to the knee but will be returning them instead. They feel as if they could be very comfortable if the foot bed was properly sized to my feet. The boots are really cute in person and the materials seem nice for the price.

Comfy winter boots
The boots come about mid thigh on me and I have huge thighs, so it has plenty of stretch. I’m 5’8 about 170 and my shoe size is a 10. The boots look big in the box, but looks way better once you put them on. They’re comfy, warm and super cute. I wore them to Scotland for a birthday trip and it rained a lot. The bottom part is shinny but kept my feet try and acted like rain boots. This is definitely buy in every color! The cream color is a next shoe purchase for me.

Too tight to wear.
Heel part hurts and the fabric is too tight to wear it. Not comfortable.

Plastic part might irritate your front ankle
I bought a 9 but it says 40 which equals 8.5. They fit fine around the sole, but I feel like that my forefoot (the part the bends when you walk) will be irritated by the hard plastic because it’s so stiff in a sensitive part. The way you’d put a bandaid on your Achilles heel, but in the front this time. The shoes are very solid. I would refer these to a friend.

Thigh High Boots
These boots are super cute and fit great. I am on the skinner side, so they don't fit my legs super tight, but they are still super cute!

Boots that fit my legs
These boots were very comfortable & actually fit my legs which is usually hard for me to find boots to fit my small calf’s. Fabric was comfortable & they fit great, set my outfit off just right so cute!!!
