Extra post support
I was building a wooden fence using 4X4 post for the supports in rocky soil. I went has deep as I could, then put these on the bottom of the post, used my hammer drill to drill out the holes. This gave me an extra 7” of support plus this helped stabilize the post in the hole so I could concrete it in much easier.

Almost Great for Price
I purchased because of the local hardware price, after getting them I could see potencial failure so on half I cut 3.5 inch rebar and cross wired it to the rebar in brace. On the other Half I went ahead and quicly welded a cross bar on brace. Either way it definately added stability but over all a great price of current Home depot or Lowes braces in the store..
