i have to admit, I was hesitant to pay so much for these but they were pretty much the only option available that looked professional. I do have to admit that I also worked as an auto tech for ford for many years back when my 99 e150 was manufactured so I am experienced in AC work. Getting these installed was about as much fun as doing a tune up on the same van lol, but they worked great and didn't leak and that's all that mattered. These are really high quality. For a tip on installing these, remove the drivers side wheel, and get the circular AC line disconnect tools ... most of them are color coded and you will need the red one and white one. Then look in the gap around the upper shock tower to see where the lines need disconnected. Its a tight fit but you can get just enough of your hands in there to get the tool on. Once the tool is on, if you can't get the lines to separate, open the hood and remove the plastic line separator, and the screw holding the lines to the firewall. Separate the smaller line first and move it out of the way by pulling it upward toward the brake lines / master cylinder ... that will give you enough clearance to then reach your hand down past the steering column to separate the larger line. I had to put the larger line seals on from under the vehicle and the smaller line seals on from the engine compartment. Installation was way easier than initial line separation.

When the product arrived only the smaller AC line cap fit on my van. The larger line cap was too wide to fit. I noticed other customers experienced this issue so I contacted Auto Cooling Solutions and explained to them the issue and they sent me the correct piece with expedited shipping (2 days). At no extra charge. Very good customer service IMO and quality product. (when it fits right)

This works great make sure you reuse the safety clips that were on your system already or else it will shoot off. thanks to this product I finally have cold a/c for the first time in twelve years and make sure to get the tools to remove the lines don't give up they get corroded underneath the vehicle on top of the frame took me 14 hours to remove them living in the rust belt but it is worth it took a trip to the desert because this worked so well pictures were different looking than the products I received they must be updated versions and they fit perfect.!!This is for the front of the e series van not for the rear!! Behind the driver front wheel well on the frame there are 2 lines that come off that are fairly hard to access under your van maybe two hands worth of space... These are to block off your rear air-conditioning from the front of your vehicle and they actually do work quite well. !!

These worked perfectly on my Ford 1998 e150 Club Wagon. Had to remove some metal burrs on the inside but that's to-be-expected for machined parts at this price. They fit perfectly to replace the old springfittings on the lines and held up great to freon pressure.These mount near the front driver's side wheelwell, under the brake booster. Don't think there's anywhere else they'd fit on the vehicle but the spot can be hard to see. Go underneath to swap and you will need a springfitting tool to remove the old one.

Items that arrived are not as pictured. Rather than being one piece as shown, there is a separate cap attached onto a standard fitting. One of the caps fit easily and the other was so off that i was completely unable to install it and ended up making a cap out of the old piece by clamping the cut off end and filling it with an inch or so of two part epoxy. Within a few months, the cap I bought failed (see pics) while the homemade piece is going strong. Not only was this a waste of money, now i need to make another part AND pay to have the system charged again.
