My 2 year old loves these books. They are great on the go. I keep them in the restaurants bag, car, and diaper bag. Warning though if your kiddo is a little on the rough side they can scratch the pages up but still totally worth it.

I bought these for my son as something new to do during quarantine, but also something that we could use to entertain him on long road trips or flights.I love that it is so clean!!!!! I can’t stress that enough. I do t have to worry about paint or crayon or pieces of play dough like other toys. They are also fun and we can look at and point out new things with each use.I had to knock off one star because of the durability. My son is 15 months, so I know he’s younger than the intended age range, but he managed to press so hard, part of the coloring page ripped off. Not a huge deal as each book has multiple pages, but it is possible to damage.On the plus side, the pages seem to dry pretty quickly so you can re-use them again. Lightweight and easy to throw in a purse, diaper bag or backpack make it ideal to keep around for doctors visits or restaurants etc.I would recommend these 100 times over.

Keeps kids entertained , no mess , very strong , great value

My daughter is a year in a half, she is getting good at fine motor skills so I read these can be helpful. We are going on a plane ride too, a blog read these can keep toddlers busy. I have only let her play with the safari one and she loves it! The only thing I wish was the design was little different where the water pen is stored. We use a high chair and when she gets to the last page it becomes top heavy and she drops it. If it were flat we could flip the pages back to back but we have to keep the book open.

Honestly, knowing Melissa and Doug makes quality products, I expected these to be good. But they still blew me away! They work SO well. The brush doesn’t leak, is easy to fill, easy to hold, and releases a good amount of water - just enough to make the colors appear without drenching the page. The colors and hidden pictures that appear with the water are vibrant and cool. And they are reusable! The pages dry completely and turn white again so you can color them over and over. And they don’t dry right away. You can color the entire page and it will hold the color for quite awhile before it fades. I’m honestly very impressed and will be taking these when I am flying cross country alone with my toddler.

My daughter loves these.Pens are great quality and release the perfect amount of water. Easy to fill and don’t leakI love the hidden objects that appear when wet, my daughter gets so excited to play “peek a boo” as she is coloring.Only downside is the top coat is easy to scratch off. If you are too rough with the pen, the plastic will scrape off the top coat ruining that spot.Keeping that in mind, I will still be getting more! These are great to keep in the diaper bag and use at dinner or appointments.

Great gift but really high priced

I got this pack so I had some to give away as gifts. These are the best. I love that they are reusable and can work for kids of all different ages. My 17 month old uses it and so does my 4 year old niece and both love it. Great for in the car as well.
