Nice for the price!
These are nice & basic for the price. A little flimsy, but definitely gets the job done! Love how they came individually wrapped!

Just what I was after, feel great
Local takeout restaurant switched to cheap POS softwood chopsticks, you know the ones slit down the middle off-center that you have to break apart and suffer through... These were a great price, are smooth and well formed, no splintering/fuzzing/strands, and have a permanent place in the silverware drawer for the times we either cook or order food where chopsticks come into play.

Ok, but don't break apart cleanly
We actually bought these to use for a game for an elementary school party. For that purpose they're fine - cheap and you don't care what happens to them since you're not eating off them.I wouldn't buy them for eating with. They were scored right down the center, but didn't always break along that line. When breaking them apart, far too many of them split in odd places and were left with sharp points.I wouldn't guarantee them not to have splinters or sharp parts, so be careful. Otherwise, if you don't mind throwing away the pairs that break or need them for different purposes like we did, then they're fine.Lastly, I don't know who uploaded pictures of the chopsticks with the "Kids' chopsticks" style holder, but don't be confused - these don't come with them.

Packaging?!
I haven't counted the number of packs I received, so I'm just taking it as an article of faith that 48 pairs were delivered. However, the real issue is that it was literally just 48 pairs of chopsticks wrapped in paper. See how they are bundled in the photo, in a plastic cellophane thing? Nope. Not how they arrive -- just a bundle of chopsticks. The bundle of cellophane kind of keeps them all together in the drawer. A minor quibble, but considering the whole reason you're purchasing these is for convenience, its a little silly.

We considered these for our SushiQuik sushi kit
When I was looking for chopsticks to be a part of our Complete Sushiquik Starter Sushi Kit I wanted chopsticks that were well packaged. The only reason we choose not to go with these was because they are not completely packaged and closed in.If you notice the ones we used in our sushi kits, they are completely packaged so no germs can get in them before someone uses them.

Restaurant quality
I have purchased these more than once and have been very happy with them. They are restaurant quality disposable chopsticks, maybe even better than some restaurants....We like to use chopsticks for home cooked meals or sushi a few times a month.I have thought about buying a pair a reusable chopsticks, which I guess would be more eco-friendly, but I'm terrible at keep up with things and I know as soon as I wanted to use them, I'd be unable to find them or even worse stuck with a single unmatched chopstick... so disposable works for me....Also is great to have when we have friends over to eat - always have enough pairs for everyone.

Great everyday chopsticks
These are better quality than what you'd think you'd get for the price. I've opened half the package so far (20 pair), and only 4 didn't break really well. I have quite a bit of experience breaking chopsticks, though. The reviewers comparing these to "sushi joint" chopsticks and say these aren't real chopsticks obviously don't have that much international experience with chopsticks. These are the same kind of chopsticks used in nearly all the sushi & noodle joints in Japan, and most of the households.I use chopsticks multiple times a day & eat Japanese food 6-7 times a week, usually. These can be washed, just rinse them off & put them in the dishwasher. Don't let them soak, though.

I like them.
I was expecting to find a lower quality, like those I would get in a restaurant, when I lived in china: basic, low quality wood and not well milled. I was wrong. For "throwaway" chopsticks, they're decent quality wood, with a milled and smoothly sanded finish.
