Decided to buy this instead of using those garbage little expandable peat discs that always get moldy after a few weeks. These worked great. I mixed it with coconut coir and compost from my compost pile. The blocks formed pretty well once I got the mixture wet enough. It will seem way too wet. If you squeeze your medium, some water should leak out.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Built solid. Only used it a bit, but 120 starts are doing great using this tool so far.

Looking forward to trying this out next spring. When the planting itch strikes, I’ll be ready to play in the dirt. The product looks easy to use & sturdy. I am not expecting it to be a problem. Happy growing!

Great little soil blocker, I looked at a good bit and was not sure if the reasonable price on this one was a factor in its quality but I am happy to say this was a great purchase. I would definitely recommend this soil blocker‘s to anyone wanting to start in soil blocking.

I ordered this bc of the price point. It gets the job done however I'm thinking I should've sprung for the forty dollar one as I think the soil blocking would've been a little easier. Pending on how many seedlings you plan on making I would spring for the large standing one if you plan to do a lot.

Are you a gardener and you getting ready to plant your garden this soil blocker is a make have this makes planting your seeds a lot faster and easier it was great price and I am not sure how I lived without this so long

This was my first soil blocker. The hardest part of soil blocking if figuring out what soil mix to use and the water content of it. The blocker itself is a piece of cake. Assemble, load soil, and place blocks.

The blocks these made stayed strong in rain! Our little starters are doing better with these rather than the plastic ones.
