when you spend 100 more or less on a meter take my word for spend another 20 and get these leads makes the whole testing so much more enjoyable and easier and faster so don't get cheap at the end and buy these leads you won't be sorry sound like an ad don't i

I keep this kit in my toolbag for automatic door diagnostics. It's the perfect mix of attachments for any testing I need to do. Alligator clips especially are a staple when trying to take measurements on a ladder or in the swing path of a door.My only issue is that design of the alligator clips could be a bit better. There are limitations on things they will grip sturdily when doing automotive diagnostics in weird areas.

The long handled backprobes had .5 ohms of resistance each.The roll up case it comes in is so bad. like unusable.. every time you unroll it, all the pieces fall out. I'm not impressed with this kit

The wire piercers don’t work well. The smaller gauge wire slips to the side of the needle, and you aren’t able to see that it has. The clamps however are great. They are large enough to clamp easily around battery posts. The other items work as designed.

I have worked with electricity for much of 30 years, as a corrosion technician on oil and gas pipelines and remodeling.The first place I look on electrical equipment and instruments is the quality of the insulation. I want the leads/ wires to coil like a wet noodle. If the wire insulation is too stiff, it certainly won’t handle well out in the field on a burning cold day.This set has the perfect insulation, is rated to 1000 volts and has enough options for lead ends to get anything probed or clipped onto, regardless of wire size and terminal configuration.

This is a total deal for a good quality lead set! You could and I have spent 3x as much for a name brand lead set that is not as functional as this lead set. This set has the features and ability as far as lead ends that I was looking for and did not get in the name brand set that I bought. No fault of the name brand set ... it is a good set of leads, this set is less expensive and has features I actually need and use for troubleshooting electronics and automotive electrical systems. Buy this lead set and I doubt you will be disappointed.
