I havnt used this to charge my phone and I’ll update when I do…Pros:-I’ve been able to record video with the device sideways but it just makes the video sideways and it’s not a big deal. Most reviews made it seem like it won’t record sideways at all whatsoever.-The thing I like about it not being WiFi is that there is less possibility for failure at capturing videos and doesn’t glitch like I’ve experienced with other WiFi cameras.-So far the video quality seems better than other cameras I’ve used similar to this.-So far the battery percentage seems to be accurate. When I got it, it was at 26% and stayed at 26% after recording for a few hours. When plugged in I saw the percentage rise one percentage at a time until it reached 100%.-The controls are a little weird at first but didn’t take long for me to memorize the controls and not need the manual to control the camera. I think it’s complicated and has different combinations with only 2 button controls to help keep the buttons discrete since there’s no app to control it.-Included a 65gb SD card even though the description said 32gb.-Includes a USB SD card adapter. I used a USB iPad adapter to view the videos on my ipad but loaded everything slower than my laptop. But it works for more portable use I guess.Cons:-The voice recording kind of sucks and it’s pretty muffled even when you talk right next to the camera. But I didn’t need any audio recording for my purposes so I don’t mind.-The biggest thing I absolutely hate is how the motion detection saves everything in 1 minute increments so when you go to view the files there’s a million videos and you have to look at each one individually and each video is 1 minute long. And there are small gaps in between the videos. I don’t understand why it can’t just continuously record the video until it stops seeing movement. The regular mode records in 10 min increments.-You can see the dot for the camera pretty easily and I feel like it’s pretty noticeable… I feel like the contrast from the velvet to the shiny screen where the camera is makes it stand out. If they made the whole thing shiny then it wouldn’t be as noticeable. You can see the camera clear as day.

I bought this to watch my apartment while having it repainted while I’m at work. It’s fairly easy to use, just a few buttons, but I’d recommend doing a test run or two first. The motion detector works fine but the files are saved in minute segments so there’s a lot of them, which is kind of annoying. But the regular recording saves in 10 minute segments, which makes playback easy and it goes for several hours so I keep it on that setting. The battery lasts a long time! I’ve recorded for 4-5 hours several days in a row without it running out or needing a recharge. The product itself blends in really well and doesn’t look like a hidden camera, especially if you have something plugged into it to charge. Overall its a great product

The motion detection works well, and the video quality is really good. I haven't tried the night vision yet. As others have said, the audio isn't the greatest, as it's a bit muffled, but passable. The battery life is fantastic. I left it running on motion detection for about 15 hours. Granted, there was no motion for about 12 of those hours, but the battery life didn't even drop below 99%. The controls are a bit cryptic, but the instructions are solid and after running through setting it a couple of times, it becomes familiar enough. I'm really happy with it.

It’s a real cool camera. Operating it may be a bit confusing at first but once you get it to work it’s great.Battery life on motion detection is outstanding, about 3% usage in 24 hours. Video quality in daylight is real good and works good in low light as well.I wish it had WiFi but you can rig it as a quasi-WiFi device if you connect the USB cable to a computer and access recordings with SCP or RDP, or create a cron job to rsync or robocopy them to your cloud storage every many minutes or hours you like. It will keep it fully charged as well!

This is the best camera I have bought so far. The image quality is decent and the audio/sound capture is clear as well. My review may sound similar to other peoples, yet its true. this is one of the best spy cameras on this market. I purchased others, but they don't last.

This thing is great. Unless you go up to it and take a close look you cant tell there's a camera. I like that it came with all cables needed and a USB micro sd card reader

I initially purchased a different version of the charger spy camera from a different seller and I was not happy with it. This is far superior and has worked out quite well for me. Since this acts as a long-lasting charger in addition to a spy camera, I think the price point was perfect.
