The Viking Solutions Column Mounted Rod Holder is the latest in fishing accessories. This unique rod holder mounts to any 1",2", or 2.5" tubular column (sizes found on many decks and deck structures) and is ambidextrous to accommodate spinning or bait casting reels! You can also use wood screws to mount to wood posts on your deck or dock (wood screws not included). The rod is quickly removed from the holder - we supply a rubber retainer strap that releases the rod in seconds. This set includes 2 rod holders! They attach to the columns/tubes with a pair of bolts and wingnuts for easy mounting and removal. Great for handling big Catfish and other dock/pier species.

works on my dock. hole for rod handle should be larger. most rods do not fit

Work as designed
Got two sets of these for my dock. They work great. Only thing is some of my rods won't fit through the hole with the rubber grommet in place.
