NORDIC QD Mount for BBL CLAMP BLK

I have a Nordic BCL12 clamp from 2012 and this Nordic QD mount at first completely blocks the allen screw that secures the barrel clamp. I contacted Nordic and they politely told me that I needed to turn the mount around so that the access hole is directly over one of the barrel clamp screws. This essentially "captures" the screw after it is properly installed. I am a stickler for maintenance and always pull apart the shotgun after each range session to clean it. So once they told me this, it is easier to understand what to do. When I pull the clamp off, this sling mount stays with one side and captures the screw. Make sure to install this screw first onto the second clamp half when re-installing.Pro-Tip: Black painters tape seems to work well for covering the barrel and magazine tube to prevent marring from the barrel clamp. I tested it with blue painter's tape and once I found it worked for several years, I went with black tape. Rather than cut to fit the clamp shape, I wrap the barrel and magazine tube with 1 or 2 layers. Then clamp it down snuggly.

What can I say other than it’s a Nordic product, made well and built to last and it works.

Easy install did what it should, spot on, can be mounted in different ways.

I had the Nordic barrel clamp so I bought this for attaching my sling. It works perfectly as expected but I gave it a 4 star rating because it is expensive for what it is.
