Zotos Texture EFX Color Perm, Treated

For years I have had my hair straightened professionally. It would result in flat very straight hair but will still better than all the frizz. I have very fine white (natural) hair (previously blonde) and was concerned about damage. I followed the instructions from the woman who said her salon perm resulted in poodle curls. She used this perm to correct those results. Her results were positive. I left the perm mixture on for 8 minutes and combed through with a wide toothed comb. I followed the rest of the instructions on the inside of the perm box. I am very pleased with the results. The condition thus far is excellent and most of the wild frizz is gone.When I woke up I did not have wild hair sticking out all over. I did let it dry naturally for a while but decided to use my heated air brush to finish drying it. My hair quickly dried, still had some body and was easily controlled. I still had some tight curls at the top hairline but they were easy to straighten. Next time I may add 1 minute onto the processing part. I am very sensitive to smell and was able to tolerate it with a strong fan overhead. It did slightly darken my hair but I presume that will change.

I recently purchased this product and loved it! I have color treated and highlighted hair, so when I decided to perm my hair I had to be very cautious. I didn’t want to fry it and cause any to break off or fall out. I found this one and the reviews seemed pretty good and it could be used on bleached hair, so I gave it a try. I loved it! I have done my own hair for years and this is by far the best perm I have ever used. The curl turned out perfectly and there was no damage. Actually, it feels very soft. In processing, I checked it every three minutes and only processed it for around 10 minutes. It turned out exactly the way I wanted it! The smell wasn’t as bad as others I’ve tried either. Definitely recommend. The only downside, it was delivered with the box damaged. It looked like someone had cut the box open. The contents of the box were falling out. I inspected the products and they all seemed to be in good condition, so I decided to go ahead and use the products. I’m so glad I did! This brand of perm will be my go to for now on!

The picture of long hair is how I went into my appointment and the short poodle hair is how I came out. After they fried it severely from over processing it, lost several inches and had to keep gel and oils in it to be somewhat manageable. I by chance when researching how to help fried hair, came across a video of a stylist who used a regular perm to straighten out the curls and help to create more manageable locks. It's off label use, but really helped me out! Add lotion to freshly washed hair, comb straight for 7 min, Rinse for 5, pat with towel, add neutralizer, comb for 5 min, rinse for 5, add leave in conditioner and air dry. Straighten & curled ends (previous damage from the poodle perm) to hide. Zero damage visible from this product, no hair loss. Game changer for self confidence after a very expensive mistake done by a professional.

The box was old and smashed in places. The original expiration date was covered up by stickers that had an expiration date on them but could not see the correct expiration date to compare them due to the box being in bad condition, so I have no idea if this is an expired product. Very disappointed and won’t buy again

It worked followed the instructions. Maybe my hair is too fine, the curls are not that good.

With previous home hair perms I’ve always gotten curls or waves, but my color became faded and my hair became fragile. Not with Zotos efx Texture Perm! My color stayed true and there is so much shine. I was looking for more body than actual curls and that is exactly what I got. I used only half of the waving lotion because my hair is mostly short and I did not want to overdo it. I detected no odor. I left it on for less than 10 minutes and used all of the Neutralizer as directed. When wet, my hair was quite curly, but I think the secret of success is in the leave-in splash solution used after perming is complete. I let my hair air dry and then styled it with my curling iron as usual. Beautiful body! Exceptional, soft feel! I love this perm and will only use this brand next time.

I've never purchased a perm in my life that didn't include papers? Such a little thing except you need these papers to properly roll your hair to do the perm. Would be nice if you stated this clearly in the product description. So instead of using this today as I planned now I have to wait to get the papers!

My first time using this perm and will get it again! These waves are mostly from purple rods and just perfect for what I wanted. I also love the leave-in liquid that come with it, I still use it after every wash. It doesn't have papers or cotton lining but it does have the bag included.

Really happy with the results on my bleached blonde very dry hair. Was worried I’d end up frizzy but it’s a lovely soft perm which has actually made my hair feel better. It was left on the full 25minutes allowed as my hair has always been hard to perm but we did check it continuously every 5 minutes in case it took quicker than expected. It didn’t take much of an S curl so it initially looked as of it hadn’t worked but when the neutraliser was put on then the curl cream - voila beautiful soft curls appeared! Used large rods as didn’t want to end up too tightly curls to begin with, and used medium rods on my fringe, but will probably use medium all over next time with a few large mixed in for variety of curl sizes. Will definitely use again.

My son has been having his hair home permed for a year or so now and this product has given us the best results by far than the ones I've previously bought in the high street chemists. More expensive but it works really well. Definitely worth the extra cost

OMG made my hair all wirey in the end had to get alot of my hair cut off, wish I would of read the reviews first & the smell orendous. Still can smell it even though months ago & had most of it cut out. :(
