Rubbermaid Commercial 4209 EZ Step Folding Stool, 2-Step, Gray

I had originally purchased 2 of these stools back in 2001 (when we purchased our house). These stools have been amazing!!! They are durable, lightweight, very stable, easy to fold and great for indoors or outdoors. My indoor stool ended up out in the back yard for use getting into/out of our trampoline. After 3 years of sitting outside it was finally starting to wear and crack so it was time to order another one (I actually ordered 2). The price may be a bit much but you will not be disappointed.

What’s not to like? It’s sturdy AND light. It hold up to 300 lbs with no problem. It stores in a compact space, and is just right for our home. This is my fourth to purchase. The other three are still placed conveniently around our house for a quick grab whenever we need to reach a higher shelf or cabinet, or climb up into one of the closets. Perfect. Keep up the good work!

We had this exact stool in our clinic for over 10 years and used it daily- many people actually sit on it as well as use it as a step stool. After 10 years of daily use, our first one finally broke and we didn't hesitate to buy the same stool as a replacement. Not many things last that long today. Hope this one last another 10 years!

This is a good step stool. It is too bulky for us. Even folded it takes up too much room. It doesn't fit between things for storage. If you have room I would recommend it, but in our small space a slime aluminum one is worth the extra money. It is not as pinch as a metal stool and the wide treads are a bonus but is is bulky. We are sending it back.

I am 78 years old and have lost a few inches. Am done to 5'2" from 5'4" and my new cabinets are too high for me. Especially the top shelves. I needed a 2 step stool that I felt safe using. This is very sturdy and doesn't shake at all when I step on it. I feel comfortable using it whenever I need it.

This was a gift to the receiver and I was told by them that it was perfect for what they wanted. It folded up as they have limited space and it was sturdy and felt secure and perfect height for what was needed.

I bought this for around the house, changing light bulbs etc. and it is perfect for that. Folds up and stores easily. But I recently remodeled a rental house and using it in a construction environment, I put this thing through the works. I tossed, threw, beat, banged, slammed, dropped and overloaded. The only damage is the paint stains and a few scuff marks. I just ordered my second one. My wife loves it and wanted one for the downstairs. This is a serious step stool. Not a toy. My only complaint is the feet kept coming off but a little epoxy glue fixed that problem. Highly recommended. Some people have mentioned that it is heavy but in my opinion, to be rated at 300 lbs, it is actually quite light. You won't find anything lighter that is rated at 300 lbs.

bought this as a second one so that I didn't need to transfer it from house to camper. It fits perfect at the base of our slide in camper.

Light but sturdty. This step stoop is light and sturdy and I use it on a daily basis. Quite durable and it can store fairly easily.
