Used this as part of a recovery from a broken talus bone in the ankle. I work construction and have used this daily to climb ladders and whatnot. Ive been super happy with its performance and support. It really makes helps my ankle not ache by the end of the day. Is comfy to wear and not bothersome

This brace is fantastic, it is very sturdy and supportive. I have hardware on both sides of my ankle, and the padding and overall design does not put pressure on the plates, which allows me to wear this all day without pain. I tried a Zamst brace, which put alot of pressure on the sides and front of the ankle. I also tried a lace-up brace, which did not feel as secure and was not confidence inspiring to walk in. Definitely would recommend this to anyone, especially if you are recovering from ankle surgery.

I had ORIF surgery on my left tibia and fibula but I also rolled my right ankle in the process. I have a walker but it made me nervous putting my full body weight on my rolled ankle. The doc gave me a boot but I feel like it’s more trouble than it’s worth. So I bought this and I am NOT disappointed. Very easy to put on and assemble. It is in fact bulky, however I do feel like it offers the most support in this type of brace. It is a bit annoying about fitting into shoes, but I honestly can’t put a price on keeping my “good” ankle protected while I have plates and screws in the other.

I tore 3 ligaments in my ankle. And I’ve been learning to walk around my house with this brace. Although it hold everything together. It’s to billing to let my foot in my crocs. ( and crocs are already wide shoes. And if you have swelling on the heels. The brace will suction it and can cause discomfort

I ordered the M/L. I think I needed the XL. It was very tight on my foot and hard to pull around my ankle. I thought I'd ordered correctly according to the size chart. Having to return it. It's disappointing because I already returned another brand that didn't work. It's difficult to tell the size online.

I used many knee, ankle, elbow, shoulder braces but never had this problem. I got very bad bruises behind my leg after using this product for few days.. is it a badly designed product or the material is used to manufacture it?

I broke my ankle five months ago and this brace was recommended by my orthopedic surgeon. I have n idea if this support is good. I received a box that said 4197 bio-biologic. The brace in the box was not like the one advertised. The instructions were impossible to follow. There was only one orange tab and the strap placement instructions, non-interpretable. This goes for the youtube video by McDavid. I have a serious suggestion for McDavid: This is a serious injury and needs a serious device so it deserves a serious, more descriptive tutorial. What you now have is very poor and, incorrect placement leads to severe pain. Shoutout to McDavid, who after a full explanation of what I received, agreed to send a new one without going through Amazon. Integrity is not dead for American Companies. I would recommend buying this on this excellent customer service and will re-evaluate when I get the correct one..

I have tried MANY ankle braces. I am 58 years old, broke my ankle playing basketball 6 years ago, has never been right since...I am an avid Kempo karate student, and had just one old McDavid lace up brace which was wearing out. I literally bought 5 braces before landing on this one. I now have two of these. Easy to put on, great support, and can throw in the wash (just don't dry it). Love this guy!

I partially tore a ligament in my ankle three months ago playing volleyball. This brace provides the necessary support and stability that I was able to return playing near normal with comfort and confidence! Its comfortable, durable and not overly bulky. Its a bit snug in my shoe, but I was able to make it work!

La compré para una rotura de calcáreo y astrágalo complicada, me permite andar sin cojera ,y me asegura no doblar el tobillo que sería fatal para mí, hacer deporte con ella durante mucho tiempo ya no se si sería cómoda, pero para mi caso está bien. Compraré otra seguro.

Molto buono se hai avuto un forte trauma, io continuo a praticare sport dopo la rottura del legamento perone grazie a questo prodotto! Consigliato ma solo se hai un bel problema altrimenti consiglio i modelli meno bloccanti
