I bought it to help an elderly married couple communicate with one another. She had lost strength in her neck and could no longer hold her head up, but talked softly into her blouse! He had hearing aids that couldn't compensate for her problem. After some experimentation we got used to the system and were pleased with its clarity, volume and performance. He carries the speaker around with him, so she only has to worry about keeping the mike close to her mouth. The microphone arrangement was very comfortable for her, but the battery seemed to run out by mid afternoon if the system had been in constant use. But in our experimentation, I was glad to note that small auxiliary rechargeable batteries could be attached to the units, recharging them even while they were operating, which I hoped might be an acceptable solution for the battery problem. I don't live near them, but the last I heard they were still happy with the system.

I first purchased the $35 Shidu voice amplifier S278 with a wired microphone to give my elderly voice some help. I liked it a lot: worked well, good sound, loud enough, etc. But I didn't like being tethered to the amp/speaker box once I realized that a wireless version would let me leave the amp/speaker unit near my husband while I roamed around nearby rooms or when noise from dishwashing or TV would have interfered with him hearing me. So then I tried the Zoweetek unit with both wired and wireless mic. The wired mic worked fine, but wireless one provided almost no amplification, so I returned it and bought the $55 Shidu wireless unit. It works and sounds GREAT -- not tinny or screechy -- and has all the virtues of wireless connection to the amp/speaker unit.

I used this in class and while doing presentations. The setup is simple, and the only issues I had was that it wasn't as loud as I wanted, and the mic had to be almost in my mouth to be heard, but it got the job done, for a reasonable price.

This unit is really wonderful. I am a female coach with a light voice. Players indicated that half of what I was saying wasn't being heard so I invested in this unit. Me and my players are now happy! Nice clear voice. And we can play warm up music, too! Battery seems to last through two practices (about 3 hours). Forgot I had to also charge up the microphone after accidentally leaving it turned on.

I USED IT TO LEAD A SING ALONG FOR MEMORY CARE PATIENTS. IT WAS HELPFUL UNTIL 6 MONTHS LATER WHEN IT WILL JUST NOT WORK. I CAN’T KEEP PURCHASING IT AND WISH I KNEW HOW TO CONTACT THE COMPANY TO GET A REPLACEMENT.

I use it in my classroom - works well, plenty loud for a classroom! I love that the speaker can stay up front while I travel around to students. So far, so good! This is the second type of device I’ve purchased, the first broke after only a few months. I’m hopeful about this one, better value too!

They are supposed to have a lifetime guarantee on these and they only lasted 4 months. These were used for adult tour guides. I have tried repeatedly to contact the company with no response, poor customer service is worse than the product not living up to its worth. WIll not ever order from them again.

I never review products. I wish every masked teacher could have one of these. I am less tired at the end of the day because the mic does the work. This is the best back-to-school purchase I made. An added feature is that it is NOT WiFi dependent. If the computers are down, I keep on teaching. Treat yourself to this product.

...wenn der Raum, der mit der eigenen Stimme 'beschallt' werden soll, nicht zu groß ist. Ansonsten ist die Lautstärke in ausreichendem Maße einzustellen. Was jedoch schön wäre, wenn auch die Tonhöhe einstellbar wäre. Der Lautsprecher hört sich etwas blechern an.Für gelegentliche Nutzungen völlig ausreichend.

I have purchased this product a few times over the years. So I am familiar with its excellent quality. But unfortunately now, the headset size seem too big for my head. I am wondering if we had the option of choosing a size which I had missed?Now using my older Shidu set's headset.

Not working on off switch , not working

Excellent product a must have. Very cear sound and good features. The dinish is excellent. If the moc is to the lip level the voice is super clear. Can play light instrumental musix through Bluetooth. Can store music on SD card and play. For a small function of 100 people excellent product.I wish they provide an carry bag where all the accessories can be kept together. As the charger port for the ampplifier is a diffrent one if you loose that you are stuck. ( it is nither micro usb or C type.)Bought 3 to gift elderly couple. And a church.Value for money.
