NuvoTP232 Pendant Track Adapter

I ordered these adapters to convert 2 pendant lights. All the pieces you need are included. These adapters just come in a bag with no directions, but it’s pretty simple to figure it out. Black to black, white to white and green to green. The only piece I couldn’t figure out was the little clear plastic oval. It looks like some kind of wire harness, but I didn’t need it. There is plenty of room inside to store the wires. There is an on/off right on the adapter. There is also a spring latch that locks the adapter into the track. I would definitely order these again. They are a great value for the price. You can take a cheap direct wire light and convert it for track lighting for half the price of buying a traditional track light.

These adapters come without instructions, but it is easy to figure out if you have worked with electrical wires or lights before. They assembled well enough but I was disappointed when I went to hang my light on my h-track. The spacing of the contacts on the top of the adapter were a “hair” off. (Like half a mm). This meant that the twisting of the adapter to get into position was a battle. I had to try to bend the tiny tabs upward a smidge and apply a serious amount of effort to twist the adapter far enough to finally click into position. I was seriously afraid of breaking the adapter or damaging my track. Thankfully I did manage to strong arm them into place and they do work fine. But I would not recommend them.

I was a little hesistant to buy these, because they look a little flimsy in the picture, but was very pleased.Bought them to install a couple of pendant lights to an existing track. They contain enough space inside to easily and safely make wiring connections with the included wire nuts.There is a small set screw to hold the cable, and I'd say these are strong enough to hold a few pounds - enough for a pendant light, but not something too heavy or elaborate.

Would've been great if instructions were included, but was able to find enough info via Google. Otherwise, the adapters worked great for adapting some pendants to fit my H-track lighting in the kitchen. Nothing fancy but looks to be as advertised, and working as intended. One aspect I couldn't find an answer for was what to do when the pendant I modified didn't have a green ground wire (designed to be grounded using the mounting bracket) to connect to the ground in the adapter. Ended up just capping the ground and it's working fine.

They are well-made and they were very easy to wire compared to adapting another type of light to go into my track lighting. I think the Built in the switch is also a good idea. You could shut the light off before disconnecting so it doesn’t arc in the track contacts.

I looked everywhere and talked to numerous electrical contractors about hanging pendant lights from tracks and no one suggested these adapters. It was only when I went online that I found them. They are simple and easy to install. Perfect for what I wanted. We didn't want poles with individual plates for the pendants since there were more options with cables.

These adapters worked perfectly. We struggled to find an inexpensive adapter to fit our "H" track lighting system. This adapter was easy to use. Only drawback no instructions. We were able to figure it out and there were online videos available to help.

Purchased these to add drop down lighting to existing track light system. Items came complete with everything I needed to hang the lights. Great price, easy to assemble and very good quality.
