Great for the price!
I would like to say, I read the reviews on here through and through before making my purchase so when it came time to buy I was a little worried. This was a Christmas gift and it came down to the wire and being I couldn't find a better deal I went for, and I'm glad I did.I would not say it's perfect and I did have my issues, but I'm not sure what some of these reviewers are talking about. The instructions were very straight forward, listing all parts with numbers. All screws came in sectioned bags according to number, wish I think was really awesome and a HUGE help. Some of the images are a little blurry but nothing your own common sense wouldn't see through.I do have some complaints but they are negligible. First, the desk does come with tools(2 allen wrenches and a small wrench), though I would strongly recommend having a power drill with a screwdriver bit handy. When putting the top of the desk together, I noticed not all the holes were drilled for the screws. It was an inconvenience at most. Next, I noticed the screws the attach the top of the desk to the legs were a little too long. Again it was more of a inconvenience than anything and has not affected the tilt of the desk. For the price you really can't beat it considering it comes with a stool too. As far as difficulty put it together I'm not sure the the problem many of these other reviewers were facing. I put it together Christmas Eve in about an hour.If you're look for an drafting/crafting desk for a student or someone who is just getting in to drawing and crafting this is prefect.

Ideal for my space and my Art
Everything was perfect with this table. It went together in about two hours. I took my time and enjoyed it. The segmented plastic bag holding specific fasteners for each step of the assembly is a great help, and a nice idea. Nothing was missing, and everything was in order. There was nothing damaged by the shipping. The table is perfect for my smallish space, but is an ample size. It has a good weight to it, and feels substantial. I like the fact that it has guide pads and not wheels: wheeled tables feel to me as if they are always moving away while I work. This table sits firmly.I'll add a little wooden strip as a retainer at the near-edge of the work surface, to keep paper or board or canvas from sliding off when the table is tilted to large angles. I'm a woodworker, too, so I'll choose an attractive wood, and fashion a strip to install. I'll make it easily removable for times when I want no obstruction on the table. This is a well-made table, of a nice design. It looks great with my tractor-seat wheeled chair, but I'm sure I'll often use the supplied stool, also, say, on alternate days. The three drawers are 6 x 10 inches x 1 3/4 inches high, operate well, and are great to have. I measure that the table-top will slant as much as 40 degrees; the click-stops are firm and positive, and will not slip. There are ten click-stops, or about 4 degrees per click, so you have a lot of slant angles to choose from. What a bargain this set is! I note that the white-surface top costs even less, but I like the warm Cherry toned top (my Woodworker bias, there).Buy with confidence, I'd say! Completely satisfied, here. Five out of five stars. Now, to do some art!

Not bad, but has some issues.
Arrived in good shape and was fairly easy to put together. I recommend flipping the top upside down to attach to legs. I found that, even with elevating the table top as high as it would go, it still was pretty low. I had to hunch over to get close enough to the surface to work, and I'm only 5'2". I had to cut a couple of pieces of 2x4's to slide under the feet to get the table a couple of inches higher. Elevating the top was difficult to do and keep it level during the process, especially for one person. Once at the highest height I could manage, the device for raising the angle of the top works really well and feels very stable. The tray is useful, but is a little large and gets in the way when you're leaning over the table top (it should be noted that I am bigger, so if you have no belly, this might not be an issue). The storage drawers are okay, but they are tucked pretty far under the surface, which makes them fussy to use. I would say this table is perfect for kids, and all the of cons are reflected in the price for what you're getting, which is a pretty decent setup. If you have the money to splurge on more, I would recommend that, especially if you're an adult.

Easy to assemble and solid, an excellent hobby table for a child.
I bought this table for my 6 year old as a Christmas present. It arrived quickly and was well secured with tape.Upon opening, the task at hand seemed daunting. Fortunately, the instructions are clear and written in English (not merely translated). The fasteners are in a bag divided by steps, making this less frustrating. All parts fit together easily, and assembly went off without a hitch. It took me approximately 45 minutes from opening to completion.I have another hobby table that I use, and this one seems to be superior in all but one factor. It is rather short, even when extended to full height I wasn't comfortable using it. The stool was also too short for me to use comfortably. As a point of reference, I am 6' even. I'll see if my wife can use it later on and update, it may simply be too small for me.That being said, it is the perfect size for my boy at its smallest setting. It will also grow with him until he outgrows me, and I really can't ask for more than that when it comes to children's furniture. It actually feels solid enough to last that long.

Few problems - mainly with instructions/pictures.
Basically reasonable to put together. The pictures are somewhat inadequate, and henceforth, especially Step number 4, does not show the necessity to put the collars, not only facing inward, but facing front. We got it together, but now cannot raise/lower the height, because the knobs hit the bars that tilt it. Based on the fact that there are 12 steps; this does not bode well, and I hesitate to inform my spouse about this problem. (ETA: we resolved it without dismantling entirely)Do not attempt to put it together in a poorly lit room, because you'll be underneath it, trying to find holes.Note: you will need a better wrench than that which is included, plus a phillips screw driver (x-shaped) to insert the screws in the board brace, and other parts onward from this step.Edited to add: When loosening the brace so we could raise the table a bit. Noted that the screws holding the bar onto the table top (it's along the front to keep the table top from sliding left/right between the supports) had backed out of the wood, carrying the plastic plugs with them. Not very good, as we only raised/lowered the top (angled) twice, just to see how it worked. Not sure that this is not a design flaw or what - but as the "wood" is veneer, basically; this is likely to be a problem in the future. I'm almost sorry I didn't get the glass-topped version, at an additional price, if this one is not going to last very long.Another thing - there likely should be clamps to hold paper, as there's no ledge along the bottom edge to keep it from falling off when the top is tilted.

Great for younger kids
Not difficult to put together. The drawing table is quite nice. If you want a desk that will grow with your child I’d recommend another desk. Good for us for now, daughter is 7 and average height, but can’t see it lasting past age 9. She will enjoy it for now.

Once it's together it looks good but isn't a high quality piece
I found the product difficult to build, the stool legs had to be bent to the right shape to fit the stool seat piece and the table legs were bent and did not line up properly when trying to fit pieces together . Must be very careful if adjusting table height or else the table top will pull right off. Once it's together it looks good but isn't a high quality piece, perfect for a kids room, but not professional.

Nice desk but was delivered in box that was in rough shape. Also had a bent part which was the cross support of the desk.
Nice desk but the cross support was extremely bent. The box that held the contents of the desk was in really bad shape. All the foam inside the box was broken in tiny pieces. The top of the desk was chipped on the back left corner. The tool trough had a chip on it and the drawer support rods were missing from the box.A replacement desk was sent and it was in perfect condition. Thank you!!
