We use this for our recycling bins - I bought the plastic bins to insert into the unit ,off of Amazon/ regular hardware store didn’t have the right ones. It looks good and It’s practical. There’s some assembly required so give yourself a couple of hours to put together a helper is nice but 1 person can do it. My wife likes it and everyone in the house is using it

It takes a while to put together. Not hard, just takes time. The trash cans are not huge. A family of 4 fills it up pretty fast. It's hard to clean the bottom under the bin

I am using this as a trash compartment. It was very time consuming putting it together about 3 hrs. It takes 2 people to hold at different times. Lots of screws. Does not sit quite square but overall a decent buy. Looks nice in my kitchen eliminated the metal can. Sits nicely under the counter with a adding more counter space for things.

Everything is well labeled for assembly but there was no way I could have assembled it so I left that for my handy husband. I really like the cabinet. I really wish it matched my cabinets better but nobody sells “oak” anymore. I included a photo of the new cabinet and the cabinet I had been using for 25 years. The old one was solid wood but just got too dirty after so many years of use. I prefer this new cabinet and how it tilts out so it doesn’t slam closed and you can set things on top. This is a well made cabinet even though it it not solid wood. I did not buy this for the “sanitizer” inside of it and after looking it up I choose to never use that option because it can cause health issues and isn’t really approved in US for this type of use. I already had the correct size garbage can to go inside of the cabinet. After mamy, many years of looking I found 1 at Menards last year that fit my old cabinet just right and also works for this. I believe it is a 10 gallon.
