Been using one of these for about two months now, and it works well for me. You can't carry a lot of keys on this type of keychain, and car fobs will definitely weigh it down. Fortunately, I only have my house keys, and fob, so it doesn't sag much. Easy to slip on the wrist, doesn't take up much space in jeans pocket either, and can be clipped through a belt loop in a pinch. I've been using the red/pink/orange multi-colored one and keys are always easy to spot on a table, or against the dark lining of my bag. Glad I bought these, and with a pack of six, I have five spares.

These are exactly what I wanted. Delivery was fast and they were well packaged.

*** update, ANOTHER 18 months later ***I purchased these in spring of 2018. Over 3 years later now, and I am still using the same cord that I first started with, back when I first bought these. I have the others from the package, somewhere - but this one single piece has held up beyond my wildest imagining.*** update, 18 months later ***I'm really pleased at how well this thing has performed. The original one that I attached to my wallet is still attached to it. 18 months of daily use, including quite a bit of tugging and dropping, and it's still in perfect condition. I honestly thought it would fail after a few weeks / months - but it's looking like the thing will outlive me :-)***original review ***When I travel, I like to carry a much smaller wallet - a card case, really, with just the essential cards - that has a key ring on it, to attach to a hook on the inside of my purse. Much more secure; I can't misplace it or lose it to a pickpocket.On a recent trip, though, I wanted something that didn't require access to my purse, but would allow me to keep the wallet just in my pocket. Attaching the keyring to my belt loop would have done the job, but made the wallet tough to access. So I purchased this set of stretch key tethers. I attached the split-ring end to the key ring on my small wallet, used the hook end to attach to my belt loop, and shoved the wallet into my front pocket.I suppose an enterprising pickpocket might find that the brightly-colored coil draws his attention, but it would be tough for him to use it to get the wallet out of my pocket without my noticing! The length of the stretchy coil lets me pull the wallet out enough to easily sort through the wallet when I need to get a card or money out, without unfastening the hook from my belt loop.I was concerned that the attachment points (where the metal keyring / hook attachments connect to the coil) would fail after a few uses: the end of the coil is simply sealed / melted / welded to itself at those spots. These are inexpensive enough that if one failed after a week or two, I'd have still felt they had served well enough. I've actually continued using the wallet + coil even after returning from my trip - so, well over a month now, and that very first coil is holding up nicely. It's gotten tugged on a fair bit, what with the wallet being used daily and getting dropped periodically, so it's been getting a workout.The hook end of the tether is a bit stiff and hard to open. In general that's a good thing, though if you have any dexterity / hand strength issues, it can be a bit of a challenge if you need to attach / detach it frequently.

Like the colors, the end pieces are not the best quality but that depends what you need them for.

After the whole Covid thing happened, my office now locks all the doors going into it so only people with keys can get in. The problem is, when everyone left at the end of the day and it was just me, I had to make sure I had my key or I'd lock myself out. Now I go in and out of the office about +15 times a day as I have to go to other parts of the building for work orders. Meaning after 5 pm, I'm the only one with a key in the whole building.I've done pretty well with it by attaching it to a necklace but after about 8 months, my neck is killing me. So I found these gems online. I get to wear the key around my wrist or clip it to my sweaters when I wear them. No more panic attacks thinking I forgot my key and no more neckache. It has also held up to everyday use. It did stretch just a little, but I don't mind as it now feels more like a bracelet. So far the stretching hasn't gotten worse.Short story long, get them. They are worth it.

They are as they say. they perform like they should. No problems yet.

I work in a hospital and needed a way that I could have the key to my department on my body yet have it in such a way that I could reattach it to my key ring easily for safekeeping. Security is everything these days, and a lost key when it pertains to patient files, etc., would be a real disaster. I work in HIM, which is Health Information Management, which is everything to do with patient files, and with HIPPA laws being so stringent, I am terrified of losing the key to my department. That would be a real disaster!!!!!!This is a most impressive coil with a key ring on one end and a clip on the other. It is extremely well-made and will not stretch out or break, which would defeat the purpose. It can be used in a variety of ways, and I’m going to offer them to my coworkers who also have the same dilemma of needing to take the key with them as they work without carrying a big key ring. I like the fact that it can go around my wrist or attached to a belt loop. The fact that they come in a variety of colors within one package allows coworkers to differentiate whose key belongs to whom. It would also be good in a household to help children and other family members know which keys belong to them. I would highly recommend these, and I would buy them again if I need more than six.

Basically what I expected to get but I did think the colors were going to be more neon or just brighter. But overall I'm still satisfied.

this is just what i needed. it's surprising that I went to a few local stores to find something like this and they did not carry anything close. i needed something i could attach to myself because as of late, stress or just being dog tired has caught up to me to the point where I leave my keys right on the door or lock I previously unlocked. obviously this is pretty dangerous and unsafe, so I really required some way of having my keys attached to my person. this fits the bill. i've only recently purchased, but so far so good. i can't say how long they will last, nor if you tug and pull on it if it will break. all i can tell you is that this is just what i needed at a great price with many backup pieces included as well!

Bought a few different varieties of these from other sellers on Amazon for various uses. I have a habit of twirling them around in a circle and these hold up great. Much sturdier than others I have bought. Purchased these for the second time and just as good as the first set I bought.

Also plastic coils is very thin - durability and strength are questionable

I got these for the key to my delivery vehicle at work after I locked my key inside and wasted 2 hours on my route. I hook it to my belt loop and now there is no way I can leave it inside the truck OR the ignition. When I first received them I was a little concerned since they don't appear to be very substantial but they are pretty tough. I have stretched the coil over 30 inches on a number of occasions when I forgot I was attached to it and my ignition and it didn't break. I keep an extra one in my purse in case it does but so far, so good. Since the hook end is small it can be tricky to get it on and closed , or maybe I'm just slow. In any case, if you just twist it so that the belt loop is behind the clasp before letting it close it is fine.

We use these for our son’s bus pass. We had used retractable ID holders in the past, but they wore out quick. These are great.

many uses, shared with family

These are the absolutely best bungie key rings around. They are strong and last for a long time. I bungie everything from my cell phone, small wallet, keys...whatever I need to be secured. Sometimes I'll clip it to my belt buckle and keep my change purse/wallet in my jeans pocket instead of taking a pocket book...especially at large venues. Same thing with my self phone, I'll clip it to my pants and stick my phone in my back pocket. I haven't lost a phone yet. If it falls out, it bounces and doesn't hit the ground! They are made extremely well, no plastic clips to break off.
