Using the dryer right now and it seems to be working fine. I have it on the highest setting and it is hot! The hose did pop out 2 times, but now I’m sitting in a comfortable position and not moving, it’s fine. When my hair is longer, I usually use this type of dryer lying in bed because it takes so long to dry my hair, so that will be the real test. So far, so good!!

Great dryer for curly girls. I have very frizz prone thin hair. Diffusers don’t work for me. I still frizz out. Natural drying is sooo slow. 😒 I wanted something to speed the process. This is it! I am posting pics of my results. I got this look by twisting my hair in four mini buns with curl gel on top of my head. I sat for about 20 mins under medium heat then set it on cool. Untwisted the buns and finger styled. Super easy . I’ll be trying for looser curls with pillow curlers and update the results. This is fairly compact, works great, and speeds up my dry time a lot! I will also use it to deep condition. Get it if your a natural curl girl. ❤️

I have curly with frizzy hair. It takes a while to blow dry & style, but sometimes I let it air dry to help reduce the risk of damage. I'm always fighting the dreaded frizz. As a young teen in the 1970s-1980, there weren't products to help reduce frizz as there is now. My mom would sit me under a bonnet hair dryer with curlers, which made a big difference in the manageability of my hair & absolutely way less frizz. I recently thought about those days after a particularly tough session of wrestling with my hair, trying to make it look nice for work. It was exhausting! Then I happened to remember the bonnet dryers of old. I bought this & some curlers. I've used it twice now, and have loved the results.I think that the dryer is pretty good. It performed as I remembered. I will say that it is loud. It's too bad that the technology hasn't advanced enough to improve this. The cord is long enough, but the hose could be a little longer. The bonnet also needs to be a little larger to accommodate the curlers. I was able to get the bonnet on over the curlers, but it wasn't easy. .The hose does frustratingly come apart from the machine probably twice during the 45 minutes I sit under the machine. You do have to be careful to make sure the hose "clicks" in to place. Finally, yes it does take a little longer to prep, curl, and dry my hair this way instead of with a blow dryer. I use that time catching up with work, writing a letter, or reading. Often it lulls me to sleep. But I am very happy with the results.

Best hair dryer I’ve everything bought. I got this dryer to do my son’s loc’s and this is perfect. The hose did fall off a few times but you have to turn it until it clicks into place. It doesn’t say that in the directions. I read that in another review. This was definitely not a waste of money. I want to buy this for my my and sister as Xmas gifts.

The product works well but unfortunately, the hose over time continuously disconnects from the hood falling out of place making the product defective and frustrating to use

I was a little leery about buying this because of the reviews where users had trouble keeping the hose in. Sure enough, the first time I tried the dryer, the hose popped away from the connection. Then I realized that the hose has to be turned in the connector until it clicks. Then it is locked in and can't twist out. The directions don't say this. Don't be afraid to turn it until it clicks! The only other thing I need to point out is that high is Very Very Hot like in you can be burned. Medium is hot and low is warm. There is no cool. This was purchased for my mom who is in a wheel chair and cannot keep her head up under a hood dryer. It was the perfect solution. I wanted her to continue to get perms and sets and this dryer was the only solution that worked. I tried running the dryer while wearing the hood and I didn't think that it was too loud.

Take my advice and do not order this product. I read the reviews on several bonnet style hair dryers before ordering this one and sure wish that I had believed the reviews on how poorly this is made. The hose to the dryer is very short (not sure if it is even 2 ft. long). I tried to hold the dryer unit on my lap so that I could use it but the hose was still too short and I had to bend my head in an awkward position. Just finally gave up and went back to my old dryer which has a nice long hose. This is a total waste of money. If I could give a "0" stars rating, I most certainly wood. Save your money and give this product a miss.

I absolutely love ❤️ this hair dryer. It dries my hair fast and it’s just like going to the Salon without the hassle. The controls are nice also. I read where some folks have trouble keeping the hose attached. Just make sure you feel and hear the click when you turn it. I was tired of waiting for the hair to dry so I decided to get this. I really didn’t think they made them anymore. I was a kid from the 60’s so with this, I got lucky. Also, it’s small and you could take it on trips. Less damage to the hair as opposed to curling irons and blow dryers. Go ahead and purchase this. You won’t be disappointed. ❤️👍🏻

I have used it 3 times and found it very useful. It serves the purpose of having my hair dried without having to hold a hair dryer, which I found tiring. Besides, after the hair is dried, I found it soft and not frizzy. The tube has stayed put for me. A tip to let it stay locked in is to find the direction where the tube will come off and locked it in the opposite direction, thus making it locked even more. The temperature will get hotter as it goes along. So I started with the medium setting and eventually turned it to the lower setting. Be patient, you do not need it on the highest setting. I enjoyed it as it is also compact. Everything can be put back in its own storage compartments. I wear my hair shoulder length.

I would advise anyone buying electrical goods from the US to check that there is information about the voltage of the product. I had a lot of problems because I had to learn about this myself. There's no information from the seller, on the product or the information leaflet. I had to google the information to find out that i needed to get a converter plug. I'm not an electrician, I don't feel that I should be running around to get voltage information, then to get additional equipment BEFORE I get to use a hairdryer.Additionally, the seller don't read e-mails properly, I had to write 4 telling them the same thing before they fully understood that the product was faulty; it did not work - despite me having to buy the necessary converter; I was not going to pay postage to return it to the US and with the additional tracking cost - it had already cost me £13.47for postage & would've cost considerably more to return to the US; and that I wanted a refund to buy a dryer that worked. The 1 star is that they finally apologised & refunded my money. I now have to dispose of the product!

I love this dryer. It's not high mega powered but gets plenty hot and the bonnet is even large enough to fit over my dreadlocks. It is also amazingly compact, easy to both store and use nearly anywhere unlike the hard bonnet dryers I have used in the past. The heat also doesn't surround my head and shoulders since I'm under a closed cap. I gave it a test run by curling then dampening my locs and let it dry while sitting on my bed reading. Then used to cool setting to set them. After about an hour and a half I had a head full of curled locs that have so far lasted three days. Before this getting my shoulder length locs curled was a day and a half experience where I could plan nothing that required leaving the house. Since I live in Canada I appreciate not having to spend days with my hair wet in the winter.

This item is nice and compact and fits easily under my wicker table which is just under a foot high. It's also slim and can fit sideways in a small space. This is a hard product to find, so for that reason, the price is fair. You can use it to give your hair a conditioning treatment, use rollers, or I just wind my hair up and clip it. I bought it because I have curly hair and I don't like to blow dry it. It dries quickly and my hair feels good when I use it and brings out my natural curl. It's a little tricky getting your hair in if you have longer than shoulder length hair, or if your hair is thick. The temperatures are as expected and the hot, is hot and can burn your neck if you don't put a towel around it. The only thing I really dislike, and the only reason I don't give 5 stars, is because the hose keeps falling out. You can put your makeup on while your hair is drying, but if you move around too much and it's not properly in the grooves, it falls out and this is really annoying. However, it's not that difficult to put the nozzle back on while the hat is still on your head. Or if you have a friend, get them to do it for you. I would recommend this product as an alternative to blow drying and especially for curly hair as it drys faster and does not frizz up the hair like the blow dryer.

This dries my hair without drying it out. Recommend using the "low" setting as the others are too hot (for me).Great product.
