Q: does it get too hot. does it have a med. and cool setting

My hairdryer has one setting for warmth and a separate setting for strength of wind. The 'wind' button (how hard the air blows inside of the bonnet) offers the choice of "High" and "Low". And The warmth button offers "Hot" and "Warm". I did Not find the "hot" one to be uncomfortable. ----------However, i did wear a "wig grip headband" under the edges of the bonnet to prevent those wrinkles on my forehead from elastic folds. Maybe without that headband? maybe it would feel hot to the edges of my hairline, not sure. But i have used bonnets before, and i know darn good and well, without using a headband? i WILL wake up with pressed in red wrinkle marks all around my hairline that take hours to fade away... Q: What is the weight for the product? Is it travel friendly?

Its very light, not even the weight of a 5lb dumbbell. It has a handle and it, so it carries easily. It maybe about 12 inches in width, the size of a school ruler, so its not that big. For me, it is travel friendly. I travel out of the country with it.

Q: Why does it say Ethnic dryer in the comments? Is this not for white hair?

If you have “white” hair then you have silver, grey, or platinum blond hair. Silver and grey hair is fragile. Curly hair is fragile. Fine straight hair is fragile. Dyed platinum bling hair is fragile. Some albinos have naturally white hair. Yes, this is a great product for white hair.

Q: How long does it take to dry typically?

It depends on how much hair you have. I have medium length hair which is somewhat thick and very curly,it took about 40mins to dry with jumbo magnetic rollers. Hope this helps.
