This resolved all the issues with my router. The original cord that came with the router was very thin. I bought the router several years ago. Great router and started having issues. The transformer on the cord was over heating. This unit has a substantially better cord and now everything runs great. No internet failures. Very happy.

Bought this for a Linksys wrt1900ac v.1 I picked up that didn't have a cord and it works perfect. It's hard to find out exactly what you need with this router, but you need 12v - 4a (version 2 needs 12v - 3a, so technically this will work with that too) and this one does the trick. It comes in at 12v - 5a, but it's perfectly fine to have the higher amps. I don't usually do reviews, but since I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what cord I needed for this router, I figure I would help the next person out.

Works perfect for my wrt ac1900 version 1. Specs also allow to work for version 2 as well. Very good quality

Made my router not randomly turn off. Does exactly what I need.

The cable for this adapter appears to only be rated for 2.5amps while the adapter itself is rated for 4000ma or 4 amps. So far it's working, but given the stock cable was rated for 7a into a 4a adapter, I'm a little concerned.

Works great I haven't had any issues as of yet so far so good!!!
