Great for Potty Training
This was the best tool we bought for potty training our puppy. He’s very smart, he figured out the correlation quickly and even as an adult still rings to bell to go outside when he needs to. It’s also a cute product which makes it even better since it has to be out constantly. The only downside is that our cat (who is an inside only cat with no outdoor privileges but a great deal of outdoor longing) has learned how to ring the bell also and attempt to use this great product for fraudulent purposes.

Looks nice
Our pup for the most part has figured out to nudge the bells with his nose if he really needs to go out. The bells are loud enough for us to hear if we are anywhere downstairs, but sometimes harder to hear if we are upstairs and there are other noises around (ie: TV)...they are bells, they are what they are :) We bought the black and white version with the snaps vs the others with a hook clasp. The bells are slightly too big to fit between the slider door and the slider handle so I had to pass the fabric through the handle looped and then drop the bells side through sort of like a knot to get it to stay (see photo). Its about an inch of space between the door and handle for us, so keep that in mind when choosing which version you buy. I may just buy some velcro and cut the strap in half and then I could loop it through normally and reattach with the velcro. Worth noting that one of the bells got caught between the slider and wall while closing once, didn't realize and kept pushing and crushed the bell, so be careful of how they hang too (this is partially due to how we had to loop it through the door handle).

A personal notification system for your pup.
Aesthetically pleasing and it did the trick; the pup tells us when he needs to go out rather than scratching and marking the doors.Be patient; dependent on the breed, training might be challenging.

Works as Intended
My mini dachshund is stubborn when it comes to house training, and we are definitely making good progress. She responds well to sound and light and this definitely provides the former. She can hear me open the back door from the other end of the house thanks to the bells; even if she doesn’t ring them I think they also give a sense of security that the back door is covered.Stay diligent when training your dog, it’s always good to refresh their training with positive reinforcement, even if they’re well seasoned to the task!

It does what it's supposed to
I love the length of it. I have a 6 month old puppy and she can reach it with ease. So far, she just tugs or moves it with her snout and she tells us when to go. Lightweight and looks very durable.

ADORABLE!
We trained both of our large dogs on potty bells so naturally they are constantly being rung all day long. I hated the look of normal ones and found these cute ones on Amazon and they are ADORABLE! Not only are they cute, but they are incredibly durable. Our 2 large very strong dogs (and many foster dogs) are ringing these all day long and they still look good as new after 1 year. I love them so much I bought them for other doors in our house and for friends and family. Highly recommend!
