Small Size, big holding force and easy ‘switch’ operation.These little magnets are powerful, easy to use and a word awesome! Highly recommended. I have two of them to hold the metal strap on a Delta table saw fence (Using a piece of wood and the magnets that I did not have to drill into the fence itself).

I do not have a fixture table. I have a 4 x 4 quarter inch thick welding table and these little magnets are extremely powerful. The thicker the metal the better they hold. I need to buy a couple more. They are awesome.

Not sure what it is about magnets, but I sure like them. I'm sure it has something to do with their ability to simplify problem solving. These switchable magnets are some of my favorites. Not only do they work really well for squaring up materials, but they perfect for jig making. I have several woodworking and metalworking jigs that require the use of thee magnets, and with their threaded holes, there are many more things I'm able to do with them. as far as hold strength, I'm not quite sure they have as much holding power as they tout, but they have plenty of holding power to keep my jigs stationary.

Better then the 660 lb magnet that is bigger that I purchased. Has a better magnetic pull and has basically the same turn off and on.

This thing has a ton of magnetic power for its size! I’ll be getting more for making removable fixtures on my welding table. It is quite small and looses a lot of its power on thin material or uneven surfaces.4 stars because threaded mounting holes are metric…booo! 🤨

I am very satisfied with this purchase. It is somewhat expensive but in my opinion you get what you pay for. This is the second one I have purchased of this size. It has great holding ability and can be used in most case with one hand. I do a lot of metal fabrication and I use this size and some smaller regularly. The old one still works it is just difficult turning the handle with one hand due to years of use.

This is a lot smaller than described so check the dimensions carefully. Seems to work okay.

Simple, very strong, easy to operate. Very useful help in the shop.

This magnet is awesome and powerful! Not to mention you can turn it on and off. Very cool tool for what I do.

Having owned various other makes and types of welding magnets this has to be the strongest yet although maybe not as strong as advertised like them all, it still does everything I need it to without fail and I will eventually get some more as they are very handy when working on structural steelwork.
