2018 ram 1500 crew cab
I used this on a 2018 ram 1500 crew cab without the factory alpine system. I used the rear speaker wires in the passenger side pillar between the doors for a high level input. For a subwoofer amp only one side is necessary. You just have to connect both positive wires on the high level plug to the positive speaker wire in the pillar and both negative wires for the plug to the negative. The sound is very good and I would have given 5 stars but the amp was installed on the one I received with the plug for power and ground facing towards the cab instead of towards the rear of the truck making it more difficult to get the wires to look decent. Overall I would purchase again.

I just couldn't believe my ears!
I NEVER write reviews...EVER...well, maybe three in the last twenty years.But I saw that this product had none, and couldn't resist sharing my appreciation for it and its manufacturer. (I have no connection whatsoever with them and wasn't enticed in any way to comment.)To put it simply, this enclosure so greatly exceeded my expectations that I was blown away. I was seriously considering an enclosure 4x the price of this one, but was reluctant to spend so much on an older truck. I'm approaching 50-yrs old and I've had many semi-custom systems in my vehicles over the years, some exceeding 2,000A with 12 speakers ('69 Camaro SS). I can honestly say that this new system in my 2007 Dodge Ram Quad-Cab exceeds them all in clarity and range. After the install and VERY minimal, simple tuning to suit my preferences (clearly outlined in the documentation), this thing had me covered in goosebumps from head-to-toe as I drove around my very quiet neighborhood at 2AM, practically blowing my doors off. After attracting a bit of attention from the local authorities, I called it a night and went to sleep. The next morning my teenage sons and I took turns listening to every imaginable type of music (one likes rap, the rest of us like everything else), beautifully reproduced, and simply couldn't believe the transformation that my truck had undergone. I felt like a kid again as I exited the truck, complete with ears loudly ringing, like I'd just been to a concert of my youth. Needless to say, my older son is now constantly borrowing the truck every chance he gets...it's really that amazing.If you'd have asked me if I thought I could put together a system this awesome, without crossovers, specialty equipment, 100+ hours and less than $750 worth of equipment (!!), I would have said it couldn't be done by a long shot. In fact, I could only dream of being this satisfied with every purchase I make. In a world that seems hellbent on producing ever-worsening garbage products, this one truly goes above-and-beyond. Many, many thanks =)(FWIW: The price has increased $100+ since I bought it, and would still eagerly do so today. Also...don't go cheap on the wiring!)

This thing is amazing! Super easy to install and the sound is incredible. As others have said I think the wiring connector could of been executed better but you’ll never lift that seat so you don’t see it. Absolutely thrilled with this product.
