The rings are very slippery . The tape is perfect

I did not expect these rings and straps to be as sturdy as they are. After seeing a few bad apple reviews I was hesitant to roll the dice but I’m glad I did. The rings, keepers and straps I received seem to be different than the ones in a lot of images but my straps came equally lengthened, the keepers were easy to unlock with the supplied allen wrench and the rings are solid - the grip coatings seem to be built into the ring instead of attached after as a sleeve or something like in a couple of the images. I feel like I got what I paid for and at $40 I would buy again or recommend as I think this is a good price point for them. With all of that said, ring workouts will absolutely work you out and give your stabilizer muscles a tough reality check; especially when you use them as dips or deep stretch push-ups. I can normally do standard parallel bar dips with a 50lbs kettlebell hanging from my belt and yet dips on these rings with no added weight still kicked my butt. Even for an experienced lifter or someone with adequate fitness I think these would be very useful to help break through a plateau in your bench or OH press progress since they hit almost every stabilizer muscle in your delts, triceps, chest and even lats. For $40 it’s worth adding to your routine.
