Really like this. I just wish it was little bigger to hold bigger rolls of paper towels.

This is made of wood (as stated in the description). However, it is VERY light. When pulling the paper towels, the holder falls over and/or turns with the paper towels and does not allow for the paper towels to unroll. It was very nice in appearance, but not sturdy enough for my needs. I returned the item.

Not happy with this paper towel holder!The turtle barely stays on the holder and very flimsy material!Would not recommend!

This item is very pretty but not totally functional. It will not hold a full or new paper towel roll. The space is not wide enough to fit the new roll. The pretty design is an insert and will pull off. So, I am using this on my dining room table. I take the half rolls from my kitchen paper towel holder to put on this one and replace my kitchen holder with the full roll. Otherwise I would have sent this one back.

Made totally of wood, ornament is very thin plywood. Somewhat rustic looking. And rather flimsy. I am seriously worried about how it will hold up since there is a very small part that inserts into the base to hold the ornament in place

It's made of wood. The turtle portion, especially, is a light wood. If the paper towel roll is too big, it won't fit. I was afraid if I forced it it would break the turtle part of it because it felt quite fragile. But as you can see, it tore my paper towels when I tried to push it down. It's a shame. I really liked the color and the design. It would have been perfect for my spring/summer themed decor. I will probably still keep it and see if I can repurpose it in some way because I do like the craftsmanship. But, just know it may not be able to hold your paper towel rolls if the rolls are big or thick.

I was excited to receive but disappointed when I opened the item it looked very cheap. Not the look I was going for.

This is not a quality product. It's made of very cheap wood and the paint job is more of a "dip dye" job. The wood is like thise little ornaments you find at dollatree or dollarama to paint for kids. Not worth the money I paid for this. The paper towel also gets caught on the wood because it wasn't sanded before they dyed it.On a positive side note, I sanded it, repainted it, gave it a smooth clear coat and added a little wooden knob on top for easier paper towel taking. Looks 100 percent better and functions smoothly. Still not worth $60 in my opinion.
