This product was recommended by a friend and I am so glad I listened to her! I got it for my grandsons and I can't believe how anxious they were to get outside and the fun they had. I've ordered lots of kits, games and activities for them but they have never been as excited about any of them as they are about the Kids Garden Kit. Although enjoyable, the games were a great learning experience and they're bragging on how much they know now. They are very anxious to watch their seeds sprout and I know they will be asking me to order it again...and I will. I highly recommend the Kids Garden Kit for ALL kids!

Fantastic product. Ordered this and my 4 yr old and I planted the seeds and read the materials. Now he’s picking his fruits and vegetables and giving them to the neighbors because we have so much. Awesome 👏Update a year later: The tomatoes came back as volunteers and are producing like crazy! These seeds are excellent! We have gotten so many delicious tomatoes 🍅

Absolutely love! We have 2 little ones and they not only enjoyed playing in the dirt but it was also educational. I bought a 2nd one for my husbands class. Definitely worth every penny!

Gardening teaches kids so much! You help them learn the science of botany. They also learn responsibility by caring for the plants.With the right adult, who has the time to really mentor and educate, this can be an invaluable experience for children.

My niece was ecstatic when she opened this. On a side note, she has started developing a green thumb since the pandemic period ( where she had already grown a number of things from seeds ), so this was perfect!It made me happy as this contained organic seeds & soil ( though some other items, like the drawstring bag to place all items, was not made from 100% cotton - drats, that would have been perfect ).Anyhow, for growing little minds, this is a perfect gift. It's so satisfying to see things grow ( and in this instance, eat! ). This comes with reading material, so it's also educational to boot!I'm still waiting for the harvest time ( will update on how it tastes :) ).

I got this kit for my high school daughter (my youngest), who is doing biology in school right now, only she hates that it isn't what she expected. She didn't think there would be so much chemistry and cell-level stuff going on, and she expected more big picture types of things.She really is too old for this kit as such. But, that wasn't exactly what I had in mind anyway. We have friends whose oldest is her age, but there are three little sisters who are 4-10, and working on a horticulture badge in American Heritage Girls. My plan was to get my daughter working with them and doing the teaching. I know that you really learn a subject when you teach it. So this gives my daughter a chance to do the big picture biology stuff, and help these girls do badge work.I am so impressed with the kit. The supplies (soil, pots, seeds, trays) are really quite nice, and the instructions are easy to follow. But then all of the extra activities are really pretty amazing too. I absolutely love the memory game, which has you seeing the connections between plants (mostly) and items in your life. The non-plant example is sheep and crocheted amigurumi toys.The information in the workbook is actually an appropriate refresher for high school biology too, with info on pollinators being the main thing in there. We live in a rural area and are a lot closer to our food sources than a lot of people are. For those not so in touch with the agricultural industry, though, there is information in the activity book tying the raisins to grapes, or linoleum floors to soybeans. The activity part may not be great for teens, but certainly some of the information is.This kit has been amazing for our purposes, and the plant growing part is absolutely great for any age!
