✨ Clean smarter, not harder with HYGEN PULSE! 🧽
The Rubbermaid HYGEN PULSE Microfiber Spray Mop Kit is a lightweight, ergonomic cleaning tool designed for commercial and heavy-duty use. Featuring a patented reservoir that dispenses cleaning solution evenly in a triple-stream spray, it covers up to 850 sq ft per fill. Its microfiber pads remove 99.7% of viruses and bacteria with water alone, making it a hygienic, efficient alternative to traditional mops.

If Only It Was Not So Heavy
We have replaced all of the flooring in our home with waterproof LVP which meant we needed a way to mop nearly 2500 sq ft. I couldn't continue to use the disposable cleaning pads which had been the primary way we mopped. I have never felt a mop and bucket of increasingly dirty water was actually getting the floor clean after the first section which is why the disposable pads were appealing. But now, the cost, and more disturbing to me; the waste, of throwing away all the pads week after week was not something I could reconcile when doing the floors throughout the whole house. So, I researched and finally decided on this mop with a stack of the washable pads. Yes, the upfront expense was more than I really wanted to spend, but when you add up the cost of the kind you are throwing away over a year it is easier to justify the cost. The first thing I noticed is how much easier it is to attach the pads. Throw it on the floor, hold the mop over it and lower it onto the pad. DONE! The handle is so much more sturdy, however that sturdiness comes at the cost of added weight. I'm hoping this heavy mop will firm up those saggy upper arms that age has bestowed upon me. But the big bonus here is that the wider mop head makes the job go faster because each stroke covers more area. Now that I've been using the set-up for a while, I no longer use the reservoir for cleaning solution. Instead, I find it is easier for me to wet the pads before attaching. In areas with extra soil (like drips in the kitchen) get sprayed with an all purpose cleaner before running the mop over them. I switch out the pad for a clean one as needed, then they all go into the washing machine. I do not put the pads in the dryer, I just hang them and they dry pretty quickly. If I ever have to replace the handle, I will not buy this one with the reservoir since it just adds weight to the mop, but I will definitely stay with the Rubbermaid brand.

Faulty product - do not buy
This product is not the same as the one pictured. It does not spray, only dribbles out of the nozzles. The cap is a plain red cap, as another reviewer noted. It never worked from the date of purchase.

Great mop
Reviewing a mop is not something I thought I would ever do but this thing is fantastic. Seriously, I will never buy a weenie homeowner grade spray mop at the big box store ever again. It holds a lot of the fluid of your choice, sprays reliably and the thin head and wide microfiber pad makes short work of the real estate. I find the button pretty ergonomic. Some people say it hurts their thumb but I can't imagine why you would use your thumb. I have my whole hand over the top of the button while I'm mopping so it's just a squeeze. Three decent steams of cleaner come out behind the mop head because who mops forward and walks on the wet floor? Filling the mop is a tad tricky but I've discovered an old sports bottle with a pop up spout is perfect for measuring out the right amount and squirting it into the reservoir. The trick to making this mop really perform is to plunk down what feels like way too much money on a giant stack of microfiber pads so you can change them fairly often. They are high quality, last a long time and have the perfect balance of scrubbing power and absorbency. My floors look twice as good in half the time.

this is a very nice quick-mop system that works quite well
The fluid container is permanently affixed and has a small mesh screen over the filler hole, which causes it to be very difficult to refill without the purchase of an additional accessory item that runs about $35. With that accessory, this is a very nice quick-mop system that works quite well. This is a heavy-duty, commercial, version of the Rubbermaid spray-mops. Just be prepared to spend $$$ for all the parts to conveniently use it.

Great mop but...
As a former hospital housekeeper I LOVED this mop. SO versatile and easy. Wipe down walls as well as floors. We would start out with a wet mop pad and change out as needed so we would use 2-3 per room, keep in mind the rooms were pretty large. These are supposed to be more sanitary than regular mops according to hospital studies, or so they told us!HOWEVER, the mop I purchased from this vendor didn't have the same quality the hospital one had. Maybe a fluke but that is the truth as far as the mop I received. The sprayer didn't work well long at all and it started dribbling out and squeaking fairly soon. I've had mine about a year and besides those issues it is fine. Perhaps you would be better off ordering directly from Rubbermaid.

Perfect!
This item is perfect, I can use any solution I want (in my case a solution of water, vinegar and lemon Works wonders). I manage two use disposable cleaning pads by placing two at the time. It is very light weight and manageable.

DO NOT BUY!!! ITEM ARRIVED NOT AS DESCRIBED OR SHOWN IN PICTURE BUYER BEWARE!!!
The media could not be loaded. SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND MONEY AND PURCHAS ELSEWHERE, BUYER BEWARE! What is shown in the picture and described is the Rubbermaid Pulse Hygen Executive Series Flat Mop. What I received was a mishmash of a low quality product of questionable origin. The handle and solution dispenser had rattling sounds and creaking right out of the box and was overall NOT the same quality as a Rubbermaid Pulse Hygen mop that I have used EXTENSIVELY at my work. The reservoir cap is not the specialty one as pictured with the quick connect solution filler, but a basic red cap. The mop head that arrived in box was also NOT the Executive Series but rather the regular Rubbermaid Pulse Hygen mop head which has a yellow arm at the base and loose velcro threading. Comparing the 2 rather suspicious included pads to the GENUINE Rubbermaid Executive Series Pad I have on hand, the difference in quality was obvious; loose stitching, lesser quality velcro, different sizing, and a general thinness of the pads. The genuine pad is the one pictured on the bottom for reference. I have a hard time believing that what I received was a GENUINE Rubbermaid product. For the price point, I expect MUCH better quality than this.
