Can't rate effectiveness. Went on a bad day. But did watch it fizz in the water and float sparkly stuff into the water. Good luck to you!

I would have loved to see this stuff work but I received a product that was 2 years past its expiration date. The insert floated right out of the soft bait it was in and appeared to do absolutely nothing beyond make a bit of a mess. I really wanted this to work ,and an unexpired product might do that, but I didn't get the chance to see.

It seems to work well for ice fishing.

Fisherman bait. This stuff is a total scam, just fizzles out in about 20 seconds and doesn't attract anything

This is a scam…. These do absolutely nothing.Used them in clear water and watched the fish AVOID it

Product didn’t perform like the description. I threw it in the water and instead of sinking to the bottom and releasing the air bubbles, it floated into the middle of the lake until i lost site of it

I fished for about 2 hours without using the bait cloud ball, got 4 bites with 1 trout landed. I decided to try the bait cloud at this point. After dropping a ball down the ice hole and into the water. I didn't get a single bite in the next 2 hours of fishing the hole, the others fishing nearby holes within around 20 ft. Also stopped getting bites. It's like the bait cloud did the opposite of what it's supposed to do . I would definitely not buy this product again

Doesn't work

I tried this product on 3 occasions on 2 different lakes, at 3 different depths; the balls initially sank to the bottom, fizzing vigorously. After a few minutes, the fizzy ball rose to the surface and spit out so much debris it clouded up the water so much I was unable to see in the hole and didn't clear up for over an hour even though I tried to scoop out the larger pieces.Even though the product description indicated it would work for ice fishing, I found it made no difference in the number of fish I caught and the annoyance of the obstructed view would prevent me ever using the product for ice fishing again.

Product finally arrived and sadly it didn’t work as advertised…..I’m not sure this is worth the spend or hype. I would be open to try again in the summer in open water vs ice fishing

I like it for smelt fishing in the winter
