Needed
Well I’m in my 70’s and it has been years since I’ve laid brick, so I had to order brick ties in order to complete the job. Whoopee they are brick ties for Gods sake and if you don’t know how to use them “DON’T “ order them. But if you want a wall to endure be sure to put them in and if you are going to try anyway take time to view YouTube on how to do it properly. M

Item you will receive is 100 wall ties from a different brand & country than the advertised picture
I just received these wall ties from Amazon on June 29th, 2024. The picture in the advertisement is for a different brand & company. The wall ties in the Amazon advertisement picture is actually from a company that is based in the state of Tennessee in the U.S.A.. The brand that was delivered to me by Amazon is from China and has a company name on the box listed as Mutual Inc. In the product description area, it does have writing that the product is for only 100 wall ties. It is written there, but it’s in very small print. You have to look closely to see it, but it does show that this product is only for 100 pieces of (22 gauge) wall ties. Some other shoppers commented that it did not have the actual quantity listed anywhere. The listing is a bit confusing and not mention all the other distracting advertisements on the page does make it hard to understand facts about this product.I just held two brands of wall ties in my hand at the same time. One brand, a 22 gauge from MiTek (Berkshire & Hathaway company) and the other brand, this 22 gauge from Mutual Inc (Chinese Brand from this Amazon advertisement.) I can immediately feel a few differences. The MiTek brand is more rigid & slightly thicker with less bend. This product being sold on Amazon was not “too easy to bend”, but it was easier to bend because it is slightly thinner, less rigid. As far as the type of metal used to construct the wall ties, I’m not sure if they are different. Both wall tie brands look very similar in metal type so they might be the same metal type.By just looking at and feeling the quality made wall tie from MiTek, compared to how this Chinese company’s wall tie looks and feels, you will notice a difference. This brand sold here on Amazon is not as well made. With that in mind, this brand still maybe is good enough to get the job done and support the wall for the expected time frame as the more premium wall ties can do. There might not be a big enough difference in lifetime expectancy and durability. I don’t know.I am not an expert nor do I have years of experience with brick masonry using wall ties, but my only concern is that because this brand sold here is less rigid, I can’t help but wonder if it will support the brick wall as long as a more well made wall tie might. But I can’t say for sure because I don’t have enough experience to know that.I included pictures so you can see what you will actually receive in the mail and also a picture of this brand laying next to a premium made wall tie. Maybe someone with experience can look at the pictures and see if it’s worth buying or not.

Product details are way off!!!!
I am not rating the actual product yet as we have not installed them as yet. However, I am trying to get the attention of the poster to correct details as they are very confusing & misleading. The picture appears to show 2 packages of 500 each (43 lbs, individual box details below are for 100 @ < 4lbs so 43 lbs would be 1000 + add'l packaging). We received one package with the approx 7.5x7.5x6 dimension at a weight of 19 lbs which included (5) boxes labeled as 100 ct (haven't actually counted them yet) The listing never does tell you how many you are actually getting which is why I had to use the weight to guess. I reported the issue but no results. UPDATE: Our second shipment awas only 1 box of 100 but we were charged the same as the previous shipment on 500. If these become available again DO NOT BUY UNLESS THEY CLARIFY THESE ISSUES!!!!!
