Easy Glide Surgical Seam Ripper Item# 732A

Better than the old style seam rippers.
Works very good. Is nice and sharp. The blade is thin and it is easy to cut even very short length stitches. I also like the fact that you can replace the blades when they are dull. My only complaint is the cover. It is a rubber and difficult to insert the blade into it. I have noticed that the blade will cut it unless you have just the right angle when capping it. I can see it eventually cutting all the way through the cover an becoming useless. Not a deal breaker as I am sure I can find a solution if/when that happens. Overall I really like this seam ripper over any other I have used.

Best Seam Ripper!!!
This seam ripper makes ripping out normal stitches faster and easier, BUT it really is an advantage when ripping out serging, and embroidery. It valuable time and makes it less stressful

Blade points are not sharp.
I bought a similar seam ripper and loved it so much that I looked them up on Amazon. But this product blade are longer an more curved. The blade is sharp, but the tip does not stay sharp. I ordered blades through Wawak to replace these. I am a professional seamstress so the tip needs to be sharp enough to lightly touch the thread to cut. The handle does not need the extra nut and the pin that holds the upper part of the blade is too long so when attached the blad does not stay tight to the handle tip.

Fantastic.
I needed one for taking elastic out of pajamas. This works great. My other one is a standard seam ripper. This works so much better.

The surgical seam ripper is so good I put the other kind away.
Can't go wrong with this seam ripper.

Seam ripper that means business!
Ilove this little seam ripper. It's just like a little spear with a curved blade. It zips through those seams like "butter"! Buy one, you will love it. Be careful you don't stab yourself with it though!.

Bit of a safety issue
The tool itself is great. It's got a nice curve to it, and the blade means business. However the safety cap is a soft plastic that is very easy for this very sharp blade to pierce as you're putting it on. It's hazardous. I wish I'd looked for one with a hard cap.

Super sharp blade, handle is a comfortable length
Curved scalpel blade is easy to slide under a stitch when cutting from the side of the seam or through the center of the seam allowances if you're brave enough to go that way. These blades dull quickly, but they are easily replaced. Okay for left-handed use, but the blade sits on the right-hand side of the handle. The metal handle is sturdy, just heavy enough that it won't flip out of your grip. I slid one of the pencil grips that elementary students use to cushion their pencils and pens onto it for added comfort.
