Zizo Static Series Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S8 Case Military Grade Drop Tested with Built in Kickstand Black

It's too bad this case isn't what I expected. The case seems to fit the phone great and kickstand is pretty cool. Over all it seem like it would be a great case however when the phone is in the case it doesn't sit flat on a table. So if you want to use the your phone flat on a table ordesk it rocks side to side because the kickstand holds the middle up. It's hard to tell by the pictures but I thought the kickstand was built into the case not raised outside. If the outer edges of tge case we're built up like the kickstand is it would easily be a 5 stars but unfortunately for me I can't use it with the way it rocks.

Haven't dropped my phone yet (luckily) but this case feels strong enough to prevent damage, except for the screen which isn't protected. The kickstand works great in landscape, good but a little wobbly in portrait, but it's impossible to pry out w/o a tool (I use a pen cause I have don't have fingernails). Volume and power buttons work well with this case on. And it doesn't interfere w/the phone's speaker or charging port. It is a little slippery when holding though. For reference I have this case on my Samsung Galaxy S8.

It is rare thing for me to give a product max ratings in all categories. It has been several weeks since I purchased this smartphone case, and I am beyond satisfied. I even love the choice of colors. The case alone almost replaces the need to purchase the Active version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge. Save some money, and get this case.For those who wish to grime-proof and scratch-proof your smartphone screen, it would be a good idea to purchase a screen protector. One can easily find one here on Amazon at decent prices. There's no need to purchase an otherwise more pricier cases from outlets like REI down to companies lik Otterbox. For me, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is already water resistant enough for the task. What I also love of this case holder is its built-in kickstand stand that is versatile enough for the smartphone to be viewed vertically or horizontally. The added thickness (but not obtrusive enough to burden smartphone beltclip holders for the aforementioned device) compliments the input features (side buttons and all) nicely and gives it an overall better tactile feel and grip. Like I said above, it is great for those who wish for the ruggedness of an Active model of a latter Samsung Galaxy without the additional price.As for any complaints? Fortunately, I got none. Shopping here on Amazon was well worth the price than shopping and purchasing in most retail outlets for similar items.

Like other reviewers have said, it doesn't lay flat because of the stand sticking out. The power button doesn't stick out very far, so it's hard to feel when not looking at it, and with a screen protector on, the screen sticks out higher than the case. So god forbid it falls face down. I like the look, but it could be better thought out. I'm keeping it just because my old one broke and I have to have one, but that's the only reason, I would send it back otherwise.

Excellent case!!!! Very protective. Bulky but my son doesn't seem to mind. I'm glad that it protects the expensive phone that is inside of it so the bulkiness is ok with me. I wish the case had come with a screen protector, like a lot of them do not (so I didn't have to buy one separately). I would definitely recommend this case!

Not great, not terrible. I dropped my phone once already and the phone is fine, but the case got dented. The colored outside feels rubbery, but must be soft plastic. The kickstand will be the first thing to break for sure. I don't think it'll be my permanent case, but for now it's ok. Looks pretty neat though, so if that's why you're buying it, go ahead.

This is the second Zizo case I bought for the S8. This one did not come with a belt holster but it is an excellent case with good lines and protection. Guess what the other holster for the first Zizo fits this case as well.

The black case is great. I had mine for over a year before the back clip broke. I ordered a red one, just to be different, and it was TERRIBLE quality. I sent it back and ordered another black one. It is just as good as my 1st black one. Not sure why the quality would be so different for the same product, but I'm glad to have another good black case!

While I haven't used it yet with a phone(still waiting for it), the kickstand feels incredibly cheap. I know for sure it's going to break very early on in its life. I was expecting the black edges to have more of a rubbery feel, but they are very firm, and feel almost the same as the hard plastic portions. They do feel slightly more grippy though, which is nice. The case looks very nice, and will probably protect well, but I would bet the kickstand won't last a month due to all plastic pivot points that give you that flimsy feeling of plastic snapping every time you try to close it back up.
