This is my good boy. Unfortunately my neighbors don't think he is and complained about his barking. So I had to turn to a bark collar because he will only bark when I am gone. I tried two bark collars before and neither of them worked, I am assuming because he has a really thick coat. But I went ahead and tried this one and it works! Haven't had any complaints and I put it on the 5 or 6 level setting and it works through his thick fur. So I suggest for pets with less fur to lower the level. I read from other reviews that the battery dies quick so i went ahead and bought like 20 batteries, and I regret it. I had it for a few weeks and the batteries are fine and haven't gaven out! Maybe buy a couple back up ones but they will last quite a while.

Our dog is a really big barker. He's also a larger dog, so his bark is loud and I'm always afraid it's bothering our neighbors. We've tried more expensive collars (most recently a $90 from Cabela's) that completely quit working after a couple of months, sometimes sooner. We've had this collar for exactly a month now and it has been working like a charm. For some reason, though, we have to keep it on the highest sensitivity level or our dog will still bark with it on. I don't know if it's because he's just too stubborn or what, but if it's not on level 9 It's like he's not even wearing it.Other than that, I absolutely adore this collar and would purchase again if I needed to.

We put this collar on our dog, and it does react to noises made by our dog, but unfortunately the noises are her stretching and yawning or to a ball bouncing in front of her. We have now changed the sensitivity level from the middle to the lowest, hopefully this will help.I do like that you can program it to only beep and vibrate, instead of shock.I also thought it was very easy to set up.

We've tried a few other bark solutions (see other reviews) and nothing seemed to work. Within a few days of using this collar, the barking is all but gone. Easy fit and plenty of space for the larger dogs.

So far a good item! Keeps my hyper beagle limited to 1-2 hollers at a time. She can be relentless, so I'm optimistic.

My dog is a very good girl, I love her so much.... But she barks a lot when there are kids playing outside, the screams make her feel nervous... It's even worse when I'm out of my house because I don't have control over her and she barks until the end of times. I live in a condo and the neighbors started to complain about the noise and the administrator told me that I needed to shut her up or I would need to pay penalty fees until I get rid of her, of course I would never give her into adoption so I decided to buy an anti-bark collar, I found it too extreme but I was scared of losing her.It was easy to put but I needed to cut the collar because it was too long for her, but it does have a lot of holes so it fits her well. It doesn't bother her and it's not too heavy, she can sleep well with it and play.I only enabled beep+vibration (no shock) and that was more than enough, it quickly reacts to her barking and it does make an effect on her, every time it activated she immediately forget what she was barking to and concentrates on the collar. She always responds to the first vibration and she just gets distracted, it doesn't scare her.Recommendations: it needs to be tight to take effect, but make sure you are not suffocating him/her, put it tight but make sure you can fit two fingers. I noticed her skin starts to get irritated after days of using it, so I decided to use it only when I found it necessary. Sometimes it gets activated when she scratches or play.I'm happy with this purchase, I can keep my hairy girl :)UPDATE: Unfortunately, it seems that she got used to it and started to bark again after some weeks. Now she just totally ignores the collar, I changed it to shock mode, which I wanted to avoid but I had no options, yes, she started to react to the shock, but again, she got used to it and started to ignore it. I have to say I'm very disappointed, I was so happy because it seemed to work but my dog has a serious barking problem, unfortunately this only happens when there's no one home and I don't have control over her (I know it because I can hear her from the security cameras). I'll try another brand and hope for better results. Still, I'd recommend it for other dog owners. It might just be that my dog is a very very bad girl.

nice set up but only worked for 24 hours....then started to go off when not barking but not going off when barking. Have a lg German Shepard and was a great correction when worked.I was contacted by PetFore to delete this review and they would refund me an additional $20 to do so. I left an honest evaluation of this product and feel offering money to delete a review unethical.
