I received this collar a few days ago, and had some trouble getting the sensitivity down. She'd bark and it wouldn't respond. So I bumped it up gradually, and when it finally started to react, it seemed to go from zero to zap with no warning. I've used several of these before, and never had one that worked this way.A few minutes ago we were in the backyard and she started barking at someone walking by and it beeped - long and without stopping. She got off like two barks and stopped as soon as it started beeping. Except that beeping didn't stop and then she started yelping and running in circles. I had to run to her and take it off and it was still shocking my finger when I touched it.I'm not sure if it was beeping when it was zapping my finger ... it was a heat of the moment kind of thing and I didn't take note of that part. What I do remember is her yelping - which is not a sound I have ever heard her make with any other bark collar.I'm always jealous (/don't really believe them) of the people who say "My dog got zapped once and never barked again!" I've been through four of five different ones of these over my dog's six years and she NEVER stops barking. These are always more of a deterrent. Once its on, she knows she can get one bark off and then she has to stop or get zapped. So she pushes it as far as she can, and when the collar comes off, she knows she has full reign to bark her houndy head off. With this collar, she didn't got one bark off before getting a serious overcorrection, and that is not OK.I do not recommend this product. Find a better, higher quality model.

Had some issues with the directions but the owner of this company was swift in reassuring that he would make the appropriate changes needed. We did get this item to work after we played with it, our dog was not happy but I think it was effective after one use. Now if she hears the beep she goes and lays down.

Very impressed! First the good : the collar works! Yay for my neighbors! I'm only using it when she goes outside not in the house. She's only been shocked ONCE!!! And now when she hears the first beep she stops immediately. It's wonderful.The only BAD I have to say is the instructions stink. I did contact the seller Petnologics for help. I sent an email at 6:38 explaining my problems and they emailed me back at 6:52!!! Super fast! Obviously I got it to work, I needed the long prongs even though she doesn't have long hair. But easy fix. I had no clue how to use the tester, the holes didn't line up with the prongs, so I asked and they sent me a picture of how to use it. I was very grateful for the sellers help and amazed at the speediness of service. I've attached their picture of how to use the tester for others. I did suggest to the seller that the instructions could and should be rewritten to be clearer and include the pictures I was sent, because they were very helpful. Overall very happy and would order again if needed.

I was really nervous at this thing with Malfunction... and I ended up being right, luckily it wasn't on my dog when I did. Now it just shocks constantly with no noise. Save yourself some time and invest in more expensive, better working bark collar.

Good product and much needed to train our dogs to respect the new neighborhood dogs. Working great!! They dont even get passed the second beep to even receive the shock so very Happy overall

Shipping timing was great! The product looks great and was easy to put together and get on my dog BUT my dog cannot even move to fast or pant without it going off. We go on our jogs and if she starts jumping around it will go off. The collar comes loose very easy also. I have noticed her barking isn't as bad so it does help with barking and it's only been on for 3 days!

The collar emits a high pitched beep when the dog first barks. If the barking continues, a low grade shock follows. Unfortunately, when my dog shakes her head, which she does often after the beep, it registers as more barking. Also, she has been beeped when our OTHER dog has barked at her. I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this.

Turned up too high and it goes off when they shake their heads or someone makes a loud noise. My big dog has learned how to whine with it turned all the way up too. Batteries run out quickly and now that the dogs have had them on for a few months, they're not really effective anymore. Spend a little more and get a better set.
