My rainbow finches are nesting quite happily on them and don’t seem to notice they are t the real eggs so working well

My pair of zebra finches turned into 6 finches last year, and I definitely don't need any more little birds! So when I found this nest with 2 eggs in it already, instead of just throwing them out I ordered these dummy eggs and followed the directions and replaced her 2 eggs with all 7 of the fakes. She is guarding her nest and has not laid any more, so I will definitely keep these on hand and maybe order more if more than one of the girls decides to lay eggs at the same time.I put a little dot on each one with a sharpie, otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between real and plastic, they are the perfect size and weight for replacing zebra finch eggs!

They work great...gives my girls little breaks :) I feel like I'm playing the cat and mouse game with them though...lol! I wait until the clutch is done and then I hold them in my hand to warm them up and then just switch them out. Do I feel a little guilty? Yes. Do I want more finches? NO.

I bought his product to help my female finch stop egg production to give her body and mind a break. It’s easy to take an egg out and replace it with one of these. Works so far. Quality is nice and I didn’t notice any defects in the bag. Overall, good value for the money.

Unless you are holding them is easy to fool people too, perfect size for the finches. When they're in the nest, can't even tell them apart from real eggs
