Best keyboard I've ever owned. Sturdy case, sleek profile, the layout makes this keyboard incredibly easy to clean without the need to dismantle the keys in the process. The White LEDs are bright and easy to see in the dark, unlike many backlit keyboards that can make it harder to read the keys. The responsiveness both in typing and in the tactile feel of every key clacking on release is a delight. I was skeptical when the sale brought the price below $35, but I could not be more impressed with the quality upon arrival. As a friend has been using a slightly different G4 model for 5 years, I have every expectation that I will be using this keyboard for years to come. Very happy customer.

This was my first mechanical keyboard, but not the first one I've typed on.After using it for several weeks I have come to the conclusion that it is worth the $45 or $50 they charge. The keys feel nice, and the switches have a noticeable "bump" in each key press. It isn't too loud, which was a necessity for me as I game and type late at night, and clicky key switches get very annoying after a short time. The plate that the switches are mounted to is made of aluminum, so the board feels very solid and has almost no flex. I bought a slightly different version of this keyboard for my mother a few years ago, and hers is still working perfectly fine. The SE version that I have, has better key switches (Longhua Browns) than hers does (Logitech Romer G) as far as feel goes, and uses the standard cherry mx style, so most keycaps will fit this keyboard if you wish to change the look of your keyboard.I did do two mods, (tape mod, lubricated stabilizers) and that significantly improved the sound, it's less clacky and has a nice pop sound to it now. Highly recommend doing that if you buy this keyboard. I will say, this keyboard is NOT hot swappable, so changing the switches would require a soldering iron and patience. I plan to install hot swap sockets from mill-max so I can try different switches in this keyboard down the line. On a side note, you do have to take all of the keys off and remove several small screws in the aluminum plate to take it apart, so a switch puller is handy to have around. The plastic base cannot be filled with foam unless you choose to dremel out the support beams. I don't recommend doing this unless you know what you are doing as it may cause the keyboard to become less sturdy.All in all, it's excellent for the price and will work for gaming and casual typing and usage.

Satisfying but quiet clicks, decent lighting, solid construction, and amazing responsiveness give this keyboard a 5 ⭐ from me. I game pretty much everyday and Logitech is the only keyboard/mouse company I find worthwhile AND affordable. As a major plus, it's also very ergonomic and easy to use for long periods of time.

I ordered one of these after my place of employment got tired of keyboards failing constantly. After several months of outright abusive use by my co-workers, they still performed flawlessly with a lovely sense of tactile feedback, soda spills aside. One failed only after half a thermos of coffee was spilled into it, but that's to be expected from anything not waterproof rated.After ordering one for myself to use at home, I LOVE typing on it. It's my first true mechanical keyboard, and it's pleasant to just tap away, typing whatever I feel like. Each key feels like it's got two levels of depression (almost like me): First a clear 'catch' when the key activates and types, and then another more firm one when you reach the bottom of the key well. I've yet to have it double-type anything even when my clumsy fingers wanted to, although it hasn't saved me from butterfingering my keystrokes in games.As far as gaming goes, it's not PERFECT. It does make an audible noise when typing, so when you are frantically spamming the strafe or jump keys, it's going to sound like clicking the mouse over and over, but it's really no worse than your average mouse. If you're wearing headphones and blasting your speakers, you won't notice it. If you're in a silent small room, you can't avoid hearing it. Find your medium.Its clearly more meant for office work, but I find it good for gaming, and it's sturdy and heavy enough it doesn't move around at all or feel like it'll die if I drop my phone on it.

This would be a lower rating, but the price is good for most of the features you get.The keys are adequate if your preferences are mushy keys, quiet, light actuation. They say tactile, but, well, I have a different concept of tactile. That said, for people who like quiet keys but don't like them super linear, it'll work just fine for you. Personally, I hate 'em. But that's a preference thing. I actually needed two boards and ended up getting a second one from a different brand with hot swappable switches. I'm glad I did as proper, tactile, good feeling keys made all the difference for me.To be clear, the star off isn't for the keys. This is a preference thing. Just be aware they're light actuation and not super tactile.It's aluminum, which feels pretty sturdy. That's nice too. Especially at this price point.But, then, you have the qurkiness. Like the stupid backlighting. It comes on when the computer boots up. Always comes on FULL BRIGHTNESS! AS BRIGHT AS CAN BE, LIGHTING UP THE WHOLE ROOM. Ugh. I use this on a computer that is, most of the time, in a darkened room. You can dim or turn off the back lighting, of course, but you have to do it every single time you start up. Reboot the computer and you're back to full blinding max bright.Fer cripes sake, Logitech, hire a decent product manager who can spec this sort of thing. It's so easy. Just leave the brightness where it was last. Or, at least, leave it in the middle, not totally off, not a hundred watt bulb.Still 4 stars, but only because of the price. A solid metal chassis under a hundred is a good feature.

I've been very happy with this keyboard for everyday work use. The mechanical keys have a great feel and make typing much more enjoyable, especially during long periods of writing and data entry. The build quality feels solid, and the keyboard has a clean, professional look that fits well in an office setup.

I've been using Logitech keyboards and mouse since the early 2000s. The quality on their mechanical keyboards are pretty good. They are very responsive. I don't know much about the different key clicks (red/green/brown keys) but the sound on this one is pretty good, not overbearing. I've been playing World of Warcraft since Vanilla, this keyboard is great for that. If you're looking for a quality budget keyboard I would recommend this one.

I bought this keyboard after returning another one from a major retailer that the letters were wearing off of the keys after less than a weeks worth of use. I love how it lights up making the keys easy to see. This lighting feature can also be turned off for dimmed. It looks a little different from standard keyboards and it seems like the keys are just slightly closer together than a standard keyboard. I also like that it is not as wide as a standard Microsoft keyboard saving me a couple of inches on my desktop.

I am using this keyboard right now to type this review. I got one of these for work, and I like it so much I bought another one for home. The brown switches have tactile feedback, but no audible click. The feel and sound of these keys while typing is very satisfying. This keyboard is a bit noisy, but I haven't heard any complaints about that so far. I much prefer this mechanical keyboard to my old membrane keyboards. I am still getting used to it, so I make a few typos, but the frequency of them is diminishing. Build quality is excellent, the chassis is aluminum. There is no pointless, annoying RGB backlighting. Only the keys light up, which makes it easy to use in the dark. I would recommend this keyboard. It's more expensive than membrane keyboards, but I think it's worth the extra money.

I wanted to wait a couple months before writing this review, give myself time to decide my opinion.Well, I would say it is excellent, one can usually rely on Logitech to provide a good product and this is a prime example.The noise level is not the loudest I have heard from mechanical keyboards. Besides, if you want the responsiveness of a mechanical keyboard, you have to expect and accept a certain level of click-clack.I use it mostly to play games and secondly to write stories, as such it works well. While I do not play professionally, or online, nor care to, during my usage I have not noticed any lag or ghosting.In particular, I like the while lighting, it is not strong, but not weak either, allowing me to see the keys in any lighting situation. Which I appreciate, as the popular RGB keyboards are a bit too "loud" for me.It is also very tight and small for a mechanical, and fits comfortably on a small desk.I highly recommend this keyboard!
