Kolpin Full Tilt Windshield for Kawasaki Teryx (HC) - 1468

We installed on our Teryx4 LE and it fits like a glove. This takes two to install and would recommend leaving the plastic covering on until after the complete windshield unit is installed. We didn't use lock tight and lost 6 of the connectors on the first ride. Contacted Kolpin and they answered the phone right away, spoke with a customer service rep and he mailed replacement parts free of charge and included a Kolpin sticker. The second set of fasteners we used Loctite Heavy Duty Threadlocker and had not had a problem since. So far the windshield has not scratched and is easy to clean with a microfiber cloth. We found the tilt windshield keeps you cool on hot days and deters the dust from entering the cab of the side by side. I do NOT recommend the fixed windshield! Go with the tilt windshield, worth every penny. Would order again.

Purchased this for our 2019 kawasaki teryx. Me and the Hubbs put it on together and didnt kill each other so its pretty accurate to say it was easy installation that took about 25-30 min.

This is an updated review. I was apparently shipped the wrong lower windshield. It went on the Teryx but didn’t match the contours of the hood. Kolpin was nice enough to send a complete replacement. Now the windshield fits and performs as you’d expect.

Don’t buy this thing unless you prepared to modify it out of the box. It is impossible to properly align the lower portion of the windshield because the holes are not wide enough. This causes the mounting brackets to not sit flush with the windshield and if you don’t notice this and tighten the bolts the windshield cracks. This thing will be on its way back today. Amazon should remove this windshield until the manufacturer does a redesign.

fits awesome and really easy to install if you have an extra person, don't take the protective cover off of the windshield until installed, you will want to pull the edges back and fold under to install the brackets and seals.

Works great to keep rain and dust out of your face. It doesn't scratch easy when cleaning like some. It is annoying where the split is because it's right in the line of sight and distracting. I'm trying to give it a chance, but every time I go out, it bugs me

The Good: 1) Once installed the windshield looks good. 2) The windshield comes with a trim piece that allows it to sit tight to the hood of the Teryx 4 without worrying about scratching / damaging it. 3) The windshield will keep the bugs from bouncing off your face, which is all any of us really want anyway.The Bad: 1) Adjusting the windshield during installation so that the curved support doesn't hit the passenger handle was difficult. Here are some tips: Install the T-Handle bolt in the bottom hole of the ROPS clamp and with the windshield closed slide the ROPS clamp up/down until the curved support almost contacts the windshield. 2) At high speed the windshield does not have enough rigidity to be left in the open positions (it bows like crazy). 3) Even with the windshield closed it still bows in the center and really should have been designed with a steel support.The Ugly: 1) The instructions are simply terrible. Plan on spending a couple hours installing, reinstalling, and adjusting as a result of the instructions not being clear.When all is said and done, you end up with a windshield that looks good but doesn't function as intended. This thing costs way to much money to not function as intended.

4 points only because lower fixed portion of windshield required some rework from me to get the clamps as much as possible parallel to windshield This is not necessarily a Kolpin problem as the roll cage dimensions can vary, I will recommend to Kolpin that they add a half inch each side to the windshield and elongate the mounting holes 1/4" to accommodate vehicle dimensional variations. As picture shows I lengthened holes as much as possible. my recommendation is to do the same if clamps will be at an angle as pane can crack when tightened . Otherwise an excellent product with great fit and finish

It was a good idea behind the design being able to remove the top half completely helps when towing the bike on a trailer or if the windshield gets too dirty to see out of how ever the screws vibrated out of the slide adjustment and I wasnt able to open anymore for the hole day not good when it's hot out. My recommendations to fix this would to be use some locktite to prevent this from happening again

Nice windshield. Had an issue like another customer tho. The lower windshield needs to have the slots for the mounts die grinded out more to the outside of the windshield so the clamps will mount flush and not bend and crack the glass. They have to be ground out a good 1/2” more. Not a deal breaker but something the company needs to revise for the future.

Good concept But not very solid should be thicker .Should have read the reviews , but will live with it I guess.
