Unfortunately the other bad reviews are correct
Before purchasing this hair dryer, I read a lot of the comments and reviews about this it. The most common negative comment about the dryer is that it does not produce much heat. I thought I’d give it try anyway given the fact that I have VERY thin hair, only about shoulder length. I also live in a very dry climate where my hair can fully air dry in about 15-20 minutes tops. When I used the dryer, the air did not get remotely warm at all. Cool air only, no heat whatsoever! My thin hair took forever to dry!! I’ve used the dryer a total 4 times and it took at least 12-15 minutes and my hair was still slightly damp in areas. When using my $15 dryer from Walmart, my hair is dry in less than 2 minutes. In addition, my hair was left frizzy and was hard to style afterwards. The blowing power was pretty good, but what’s the point when it’s not effective. The power and fan control buttons were also hard to push up and down.I was really bummed to discover that most all of the other reviews were correct. Sadly, I would not recommend this dryer at all.

Great hair dryer for camping!
Let me first say that I very seldom every write a review, but I read them all before I purchase anything. I felt the need to review this, because of how long I searched for a cordless hair dryer. I have been researching cordless hair dryers for over 8 months now before I purchased this Lylux cordless hair dryer. I wanted a cordless hair dryer for camping. And I have to say that I’m very impressed with this hair dryer! Please keep in mind that it is cordless and isn’t exactly like a corded one. It has great air blowing power, but just lukewarm heat. I have longer fine hair, and it dried my hair within 10 minutes. After 10 minutes on high heat and high air, I still had full power left. Once again it is only lukewarm heat on the high setting! But it is perfect for camping. It came in a very nice box with all its parts packed in the box very well. And a cute little drawstring carry bag. When I received it, it had 2/3 power. I put it in it’s base and charged it over night. When I used it the next day, for the first time, it read full power to start. I am very happy with my purchase. I hope this review helps others.

the real honest review by and for professionals.
Here is the review you want to read.First of all, i was looking for a wireless hair dryer and found that one. I did a lot of research on what would be the best« professional » wireless hair dryer and every option came down to this one. *Note that i used it for a complete week/ 75 clients, not months so i dont know how this is gonna age*AS A BARBER’s PERSPECTIVE. Its cool, not the GREATEST, but has its advantages… it has surprisingly a lot of wind force to it 10/10 for that. Three speeds, a locking cold button. ITS WIRELESS!!! I always leave it on the dock on my station so battery is not an issue. I can blow off hair extremely easily everywhere: (on my station, clients’ feet, etc). The magnetic nozzle feature is really a nice design, but stronger magnet could’ve been a great idea. If you dont touch it, it holds, but dont bump it up because it will fall. This is probably why a diffuser option is not available on their website wich is stupid at this price. The design looks nice but it is really top heavy. It feels a little bit like a hammer. The real problem is heat. Honestly, for a hair dresser who does long hair/ brushing/ more than 2-4 minutes of blower, this is not the right tool for you. Technology is not at this point. It is at its hottest point on the low speed position and gradually becomes colder as the wind speed increases. As a barber, it does the job🤷🏻♀️ It is not the most productive hairdryer. You can buy a much higher quality hair dryer at this price. But it is wireless. I was ready to compromise on a made in china cheap build quality, not the hotter hair dryer too, to have it wireless. I hate wire, always step on it, cannot do a right cable management because i need the lenght of the cable. I take 2 to 4 minutes to blowdry a client’s hair. I mostly use leafing technique and brushing the hair with a vent brush really close to the head so not too hot is not a that big of a disadvantage for me because i dont want to burn the scalp. Ive had a intermittent problem. Sometimes when i take it off the dock, it still flashes like it is charging. That means that the blower cannot be turned on. At first, i thought the switch was the problem but it was actually a bug. You only need to put it back on the charging dock and pick it up right after. Its annoying for a 200$ hair dryer. Now, I always leave it the switch on and put it on the dock after i used it. It automatically shuts off by itself. That is pretty much it.

Legit
I am actually amazed! It blows harder than I thought, and it does get warm, not hot, but it does get warm. At least, I love how it looks and how it feels it’s a nice solid, decent piece, blows good gets warm, and his cordless what else could I ask for in this business … I had first was going to return it before I received mine. One of my barbers got his before me and it barely blew. I couldn’t believe it. I could buy a $30 blow dryer to blow harder than it. It must’ve been a defect because when I got mine, it blew like a jetstream and works perfect 👍💈💯

Electrical burning smell
I really like not having to mess with a cord, for sure. Charging time on this dryer is quick, but the charge must be FULL in order to get any heat---and when you do use heat, it's not hot at all....just a nice warm. My biggest complaint with this dryer is the awful electrical burn smell emitted EVERY TIME I TURN IT ON. The odor lasts the entire 5 min or so that I use the dryer, whether it's on the cold or warm temp setting. I was hoping since it was a new dryer that the "newness" smell would eventually disappear. I use the dryer maybe once a week, and maybe for 5 minutes. Now I cannot return it because the return window time has expired.
