I didn't want to buy a new remote for $330 because of a dead battery. When I found a replacement battery I figured how difficult could it be to replace the old one. I will say the remote is a bit tricky to open but once opened it took me about 5 minutes to replace the battery and put it back together. I charged it and have been using it for a couple weeks now and the remote is working fine.

This battery seems to be an exact replacement for the original battery that had died after many years of service. However, replacing the battery isn't as easy as sliding open a cover and swapping the battery. This was the case in my other Logitech remotes, but the Ultimate One doesn't have an easily removable battery cover. Disassembly requires forcing the upper and lower portions of the remote to separate completely, and carefully.The two halves can be forced apart by sliding a sharp edge along the seam. The mating parts tend to snap back together, so I used guitar picks to maintain separation until enough of the remote had been separated.Note that there is a small screw under a label near the USB connector that holds the two halves together. I didn't see that until the end of the disassembly process. Maybe the two halves can separate more easily of that screw is removed first. But I didn't see it under the label, and by then I had caused some minor damage to the plastic housing.Be warned that there is a short wire connecting the two halves, so be careful near the end to not pull the two halves to far apart when they finally release their grip on each other. That wire connects to a tiny socket for wires that feed an infrared emitter on the lower side of the remote. The wire can be disconnected from the main board to allow access to the battery mounted on the main board. Don't forget to reconnect it when reassembling the remote.Small screws hold a cover that surrounds the battery. The screws came out easily, but the cover was tightly held by a small circuit board for the USB connector. I was able to get the cover loose, but I was later unable to reinstall it under the USB circuit board. So I broke off a piece of the cover to make it fit. The cover, when screwed in place, seems to hold the battery well enough without the missing part.So if you are comfortable with projects like this, and you have the right tools, give it a try. They don't make these remotes anymore, so fixing it is the only way to go.

it fit in the space available and the interface was exactly right. now my useful life is close to 2 days without any recharging... and we use the remote a fair bit in the AM and PM.

Less than 8 month in use and its as bad now as the battery it replaced. Replacement batteries should last at least a couple of years.

Doesn't last more than a day or two before it needs recharging. But it's still better than what i had. I would recommend this battery only if you're in a crunch and desperate like me. (My Harmony Remote only burps now and then) LOL.

Logitech stopped making the Harmony remote series, so when mine stared acting up I was desperate for a fix. Replacing the battery brought it back to life and now it's working great. (I hope they don't stop making these replacement batteries!)

Smoked the Logitech 3 mouse this was installed in. Had to spend $104.99 to replace the mouse.I don't know what the problem with these batteries are, but I could have saved nearly $45, if I just bought a replacement mouse in the first place, rather than wasting my time and money on these batteries.I should mention I am a Journeyman Electrician of more than 30 years. This is the first time replacing a battery has ruined the device in my 30+ years of working on all kind of devices. Computer

The difficulty of disassembling the remote aside, this battery was a drop-in replacement with the correct connector. My 10+ year old Logitech Harmony Touch remote works perfectly again!

Para repuesto del TomTom integrado en mi Toyota Yaris Rock in Rio, encaja bien en el hueco aunque el conector de esta batería es ligeramente mayor.He tenido que cortar el conector y usar el tubo retráctil que también se suministra para poder empalmar los cables de esta batería con el conector de la original.

Servizio di Amazon impeccabile. La batteria è esattamente uguale alla batteria originale (che ormai era esausta e non teneva più la carica). Al contrario delle illustrazioni arriva giá con il connettore JST a 3pin. Non è quindi necessario tagliare il cavo. Il mio telecomando ora è di nuovo funzionante!

Sembra vada bene, ho sostituito una batteria di capacità inferiore, un vivavoce, ora dura molto di più, oltre il doppio, resta da vedere la durata, per quello 4 stelle.
