Fast
This works great in fact faster than trying to use jumper cables I’ve had jump boxes in the past and I’ve never had much luck with them but this one works great and fast I’d recommend getting one for every vehicle as an option for your emergency kit it’s compact and lightweight enough that it doesn’t take too much room in the trunk

An easy, quick, safe portable jump starter/ USB charger
I've been having electrical problems with my car, that the mechanics haven't been able to solve yet. So, I bought this jump starter, because it was on sale and has several features. So far, it has worked great. I've gotten several jumps with a single charge. I didn't even need to turn it on. I just plugged in the car jumper cables, hooked them up to the battery and started the car up.The jumper cables are different lengths. I assume this is a safety measure to help prevent the ends from touching each other.Although I haven't had a need for it yet, the light is pretty bright. And it's small enough that I was able to carry it in my CamelBak, that I use when I go riding, in case I need to recharge my phone.I've been very happy with it and it saves time not having to wait for assistance from a neighbor or service like AAA.It can charge any portable device with one of the 2 USB ports it has, such as a phone, PC, etc., when you're on the go, & it's easy to use.

Great product at great value!
The media could not be loaded. I have a couple of these type of chargers and this one packs more punch at a better price. I have tested it on a 6 cylinder VW Passat and it worked fine. Its a simple product that does a few things, it can charge up to two devices through the USB ports and one through a fast charging USB C port and it can jump batteries off. It also has a handy flashlight which neither of the other ones I bought have. The LED Voltmeter is also a nice function to have that others don't.To me these devices are a must for each vehicle, just toss it in your trunk, but remember to top it off every couple of months because it will slowly lose its charge. I'm not really sure the life of these, but I've have my other ones for about a year and they still work great, I imagine this one will work the same. They also make great gifts for loved ones in your life. You should be able to get at least 2 to 3 jumps between charges, but you have to let it rest between jumps because it might overheat if you don't. This is nothing to worry about because every charger I have had functions the same. Looking on the label, it says its good for 1000 jumps, I imagine that would take the average person a while to hit.If you are looking for convenience at a great price this is your charger. If they still have the $15 coupon you can't beat the price. I might get a couple for gifts this holiday season.

great in a pinch, lightweight, handy usb charge ports... but only enough power for ONE jump start
This is a really handy jump starter that is especially ideal for lending to someone else without risking your own car... but it appears to only be good for 1 jump start so you have to know how to jump start a car correctly overall. (more below)I went looking for this for 2 specific reasons:- Obviously, my car battery died once and I never wanted to be stranded again.- A friend was helping someone with car-to-car jumper cables but they apparently put it on wrong and it fried her car in the process. In case someone asks for help, I wanted to be able to help without risking my own car.I love how small and portable it is: 3.5"x7.5"x1.5 inches. It comes with an optional case that is is 5"x9"x3.5" and has a handle, so it's easy enough to grab and take in/out of your car to charge. The charger cable is a Type C to USB cable, so it is so convenient to take it in the house and charge it using the same cable I use for my cellphone. It comes with a mini instruction manual that you can keep in the case so you know the order to attach the cables. The usb charge ports are incredibly useful and the pack is also lightweight enough that I've been able to put it in a deep coat pocket to charge my phone on the go in a pinch.I had to knock it a star in this review because it turns out the charge is only good for 1 jump start. I lent this to someone, fully charged and they attached the cables in the wrong order and then took it off prematurely right after the car started so of course the car died again a few minutes later; when they tried to reattach to jump it again, there wasn't enough charge for a 2nd jump start. So you have to know how to jump start a car in general:- The red cables are always first and last. So Red-to-Red gets attached first, then black-to-black. When detaching, the black comes off first and then red comes off last. All of this is right there in the instruction manual and you can google it on car sites to confirm. It's disturbing the number of people who attach the cables in the wrong order.- Once the car starts, you have to KEEP THE POWER SOURCE CONNECTED for 10-15 minutes so that the car battery reaches enough minimum charge to get home or to a shop. If you're just using jumper cables car-to-car, you can just re-attach and do it all over again. But if you are using this jump starter, it will not have enough power for a second jump start if you disconnected it prematurely. Bottom line, if you're using this to jump start, you have to keep it attached to charge the car battery until the starter pack is completely drained.Overall, this was a great purchase and it will work out well if you know how to use it properly.

Very impressed, great product!
I ordered this, and then ended up not needing to jump a vehicle for quite a while. I charged my phone off the device as a power bank several times with no problem. I then left it sitting with a half full battery for a couple months. Then last weekend I was at my parents' house, and my dad's 15 passenger van which hadn't been driven in months had a completely dead battery - no glow at all in the interior lights, not even a click when trying to start it. He was about to connect a battery charger, and I stopped him so I could test this jump starter. When I pulled it out and hooked it up, he laughed and said there was no way it'd produce anywhere near enough power to get the van engine going, especially with the battery so dead.We tried to start it, and it fired up no problem! Not even slightly sluggish, it sounded just like starting the engine with a full battery. I left the jumper connected for a few seconds after the engine started, and the device properly detected the vehicle trying to push power back and disconnected with an appropriate indicator on the screen. The van was definitely having problems, and we ended up stalling it and having to jump it a few more times. After the second time, my dad said we better be careful, because "my little toy" probably wouldn't have enough power for much more. I wasn't sure myself how many starts we'd get, since I'd made the mistake of leaving it sit for months and it only had half a charge when we started. We ended up having to jump start the van 4 times - every time this little jumper provided enough power for a strong start, and only after the 4th start did the power indicator drop from 2 lights (out of 4) to 1.We were both very impressed with the performance, and as soon as we were done, my dad had me help him find this device on Amazon so he could order one for himself. While the jump starting capabilities are obviously the key feature of this device, it has a few other features which also worked very well:- When you connect the jumper cables to power bank, it gives a nice display of its output voltage. Once you connect to the vehicle's battery, the jumper will briefly switch every few seconds to show the vehicle battery's voltage. When you're starting the vehicle, the output voltage will drop a bit due to the load, but the display allows you to monitor and make sure the jumper can handle the load of the engine you're trying to start.- Once the engine is started, the alternator will begin charging the vehicle battery, and that would also push energy back into this jump starter, which it wouldn't be able to handle. It has the ability to detect this situation, and safely disconnect itself internally. This means you don't need a second person standing by the engine to disconnect the jumper immediately after the engine starts.- The jump starter will properly detect if you accidentally connect the cables together, and will safely prevent the short circuit from doing any damage.- The jumper cables plug in separately, so when you are using the device as a power bank, you don't have them knocking around- The power bank features also work well. I connected my phone to the USB 3 power port, and my phone detected quick charging capabilities and charged nicely.- In the photo with the cables hooked to a car battery, the display looks odd. This is just a problem with the camera on my phone. In person, the readout looks just fine, like it does in the close up photo.I initially had a bit of a problem with the jumper cables always falling out of the pouch when I opened the case, but after arranging them as shown in the photo, they have stayed put nicely.
