Requires 2 x aaa batteries but it comes with them in the box.Hi. I haven’t received this and tracking is saying the item is lost. Any help appreciated. It can measure and display four different readings on one screen which is handy for getting the width and length, and they making a note of them.It can also go into contestant measure mode where it will take a measurement every 0.5 seconds. I don’t think I’ll use this feature but it’s good to have in the future if I find a use for it.Very easy to use. Measurement is very accurate, I tested it with a measuring tape and it was 100% spot on. It has two spirit levels, on on each side useful for a whole host of things; straight laser measurement, levelling surfaces, etc.You can change the unit of measurement by holding the “unit” button down. It will change between inches, ft, cm, and mm. you can change the unit of measurement before you measure, or even after you measure and it will convert your already measures measurements.Overall very happy. Nice and small, compact, and easy to carry. Very easy to use, and very accurate. Would recommend.

I Bought it because my boyfriend refused to help me measure the bathroom, and I don't need no man!Its SO easy to use, accurate, lightweight.An excellent second use: The laser for playing with cats, mine LOVE IT!!!I even took this with me on holiday (why not) and used it on the Caledonian Sleeper (I can confirm the sleeping quarters are small, less than 3m2)If this is something you need or want! BUY IT, Defo worth the price.

Bought this to assist me in measuring up a property to create a 3D model on Sketchup. Its a simple device so 8 won't labour any points; its clear, accurate and easy to use and was perfect for the task and a bargain at £20. However, that said, I haven't given it top marks for two reasons 1. The 'butt end' or the end that you rest against the wall is not flattened off and has the same profile as the rest of the body. I would have expected this to be a flat rubber profile to keep it square on whatever you are resting it on to take a measurement. For this reason, I found it quite fiddly to keep level whilst trying to press the measure button, all in one hand. Lastly, it could really benefit from a reflector plate (small, credit card size plastic for exterior profiles) and also a case of some kind. Other than that, its a good buy.

Accurate and worth every penny. Effortless to use.

Great piece of kit that saves me trying to extend a tape measure across the loft while perched on a rafter. Solid measure and worth every penny. This is my second one, as my son claimed the first one. That one was so good I bought the same again.

Have been measuring up for potential house purchase. Very easy to understand, sometimes I get confused as to if I have pressed measure. Probably me more than machine. - Valuable for checking the accuracy of estate agents plans.

Would have given it a full five stars if it as advertised as interior measuring device.Overall the tool appears cleverly designed, sturdy, easy to use, with user-friendly gimmicks (like the two spirit level bubbles, which unfortunately appear stuck in the high viscosity fluid and hence utterly useless).Impressive for indoor usage, very handy with its compact and portable design.Definitely not so impressive outside, found it unable to measure 60m long distances, no matter how many new batteries I changed.It's Ok for short spans up to 17-18m long, mainly in internal areas. Almost useless for more than 22m, hopeless for +50m.I'd have to say, entirely false advertisement about 60m distances. I only managed one accidental 62.5m long measurement, against a huge white plaster gabble wall of a neighbours house, in very low light conditions, after trying for approx 25 times.Truly frustrating, as clearly the visible red laser dot is not 100%aligned to the invisible spectrum laser. So any small target, like a concrete post, a fence, a plywood plank, will be missed.A puzzling design flaw is the round bottom (see my video) which means that when you try to place it against a flat wall to measure the distance to another wall 15m away, the box will wobble unsure which is the right 90 degrees angle. A rather infantile mistake, of someone who has never measured anything in the real world (not lab conditions).

I’m a plasterer and I’m always measuring up ceilings and walls for boarding etc. This works great and it’s very accurate. Can’t do without it now. 5*****’s!
