Good book
Enjoyed it, but didnât fully lived up to the hype. Itâs really nice, without feeling extraordinary to me. Also this was a very typical third act break up that didnât really need to happenâŚ3.5 stars for me, rounded up

Fun, addictive romance!
Tropes: Enemies to lovers, forced proximity, wedding.WHAT A FUN BOOK! If you liked The Love Hypothesis, you will definitely enjoy this! It is a super tropey (in the best way), slightly chaotic romance with a lot of heart.Crystal is a fitness influencer on Instagram who is throwing herself into her work after a break up. When a grouchy man steals her equipment mid work out, the gym becomes a battleground for the pettiest back and forth ever seen. But when her gym-nemesis is introduced as her grandmotherâs fiancĂŠâs grandson, they are forced to spend more time together, and they find out that there is a very thin line between love and hate.To be perfectly honest, I am not normally a fan of influencer-based romances. I donât know why, but they never seem to work for me. This was definitely an exception! Crystal feels sincere and I loved how much she championed other women, from her close friends to those who followed her online. That is such a huge focus in this book â body positivity, neutrality and self-belief. Lea handles these topics, alongside the fatphobia and online abuse that comes with them, really well.Scott is a fire fighter (which is an instant swoon from me) with a grumpy exterior but is really gentle underneath it. Iâve seen a few comments that this book is insta-love, but I would disagree. I think there is a lot of lust at the beginning (the chemistry between them is SO HIGH) as is often the case with enemies to lovers, but we then see that lust change over time to love. I really believed in their romance, and them as a couple. The spice was on point, but the fact there was no scene with the fire pole?? Missed opportunity. As well as the romance, there are really strong friendship and family bonds in this story that I just LOVED! I wish we got to read more about the fire station (a duel POV would have been really good here), but I loved the wedding sub-plot between Crystalâs grandma and Scottâs Grandpa â teeth achingly sweet.Just to add, I did have a few concerns about some of the language used (there was an occasion where PTSD was used as an adjective, for example). I reached out to the author and was told that if these were not cut in the final edit, they would be before the next batch of printing. It was obvious that it wasnât intended negatively at all â just something to bear in mind if you get a copy from the first printing.Overall, this was a really fun time. I demolished it in one sitting. Solid 4.5 rounded up!

A fun romcom with more development needed
3/5 âď¸1/3 đśď¸This was such a fun read to begin the year with! While the themes of body-shaming and online bullying are prominent in this book, I still found it a lighthearted and hopeful reading experience. We follow fitness influencer Crystal who has created a platform about loving and accepting your curvy body. After a series of encounters (both bad and good) with a man at the gym, she discover her squat rack stealing enemy is the grandson of her grandmaâs fiancĂŠ. Obviously this results in some further meetings and the development of a lot of feelings.I really enjoyed Crystalâs character and found her development through body image was my favourite element of Set on You. The side characters were delightful and well thought out - I am looking forward to Taraâs book coming out this month! What slightly brings down my rating is the relationship itself. I didnât feel the connection between Crystal and Scott, their interactions while discussing important issues felt surface level for some reason. I would have preferred more angst before they got together and a different conflict in the third half.Overall I definitely recommend this romcom if youâre in the mood for a pallet cleanser or interested in the self love movement. While the relationship lacked for me the character development more than made up for it!

Love the representation
originally brought Amy Lea's book Ex's & O's before I realised it was the second book. I brought the first book, which is this one 'Set on You', and I am so glad I did. This book made me laugh and cry all at the same time. It's a fun, inclusive book, and I am so glad I read it.Not only is our main character, Crystal a Chinesse character, but she is also a curvy character who just made this book so much better.I loved the dynamic of the relationships between the characters and just loved the story. My only slight annoyance was the fact we were always at the gym, which seems slightly controversial on my half because it literally is her job to be at the gym all day.Saying that I enjoyed the spicy scenes in this book đ

Amazing and extremely funny
I have no words to describe how much I loved it! As a fat woman, I saw a lot of myself in Crystal and her struggles. Every time one of her instagram posts showed up in the book, I cried because it was so relatable! Also, her and Scotty were the cutest and funniest couple of all time đâ¤ď¸ I definitely recommend reading this book

A fun read with relatable characters
What I love about the book is the fact, that the characters are really relatable and the relationship progresses naturally and understandably. Good read if you like curvy heroine and double pov.

Love the representation!!
This is to cute!! I really loved the vibe of this one, such a sweet read. Crystal is an influencer that promotes body positivity and self love no matter your ethnicity, weight, age whatever. And btw her sister is a bookstagrammer, love that!I think that this book could have a positive impact on so many people. Crystal really goes thru the ringer but comes out on the other side stronger. No spoilers but just know that the message is just amazing. No matter if youâve struggled with this yourself or not I think everyone can take something from this one. Obviously thereâs still an overall romance theme, so if thatâs not your thing maybe just go with something else.So to summarize. I love Crystal and what she does. Scott seems like a really good guy. And there are so many good side characters! If youâre a romance reader youâll hopefully love this to

Could be better
Rating : 3.5 â.Review : It's not the average rom-com books you can find everywhere. It was a very refreshing, charming, funny, really enjoyable reading. Although it lakes some twists and I had to go the last pages quickly to be done with it.
