I had a sticking plug due to the original rubber seal hardening over the years. Fitted this as a direct replacement for the aged seal and problem solved. Plug now has a smooth movement when pushed down and pops up when sink needs to be drained. Note that the seal needs to be put on the correct way round otherwise it will continue to stick.

Fits fine and does the job required

We had an issue where the sink to the caravan bathroom just wouldn't hold water for any length of time when the plunger was engaged.After inspection of the exisitng O-ring it was found to be cracked and deteriorated, puchased these, and no more leaky sink.The new O-ring was easily installed by removing the old O-ring (pinch and pull worked best for me) stretching the new o-ring over the existing plunger and letting it sit within the groove of the plunger; just make sure that the lip on the new seal is constant all the way aound and not twisted - it can be a bit of a faff to get straight, but once it was straight I've had no issues whatsoever.
