I am new to sharpening chisels but so far so good! Four different stone grits work very well! I had a few really abused chisels that had to be ground down before using the stones but they ended up extremely sharp after using the stones and strap to finish them. I would get these again.

If your patient and like a refined edge on your cutlery these stones will do the trick. If you don’t like taking 15-20 minutes to refine and polish your knife’s edge then these stones are not for you. Personally I love the set.

This comes with almost everything you could need to sharpen your blades and is well made. Unfortunately, mine arrived with broken angle guides so I'm waiting on a replacement - not the fault of the seller ad no stars deducted as a result. It would be really nice if it came with a storage box or bag to keep it all together and the instructions/guide is a bit lacking. The listing on Amazon does a better job of listing all the items included where the printed guide does not, the guide is exactly the some on both sides of the document and feels incomplete. These are my reasons for the one-star seduction. Thankfully, there are plenty of online resources available for guides and instruction.

Good stones. Plastic guide is so-so. Pocket knife makes the guide difficult to use.

Very basic set, good for "learning" how to sharpen knives.Be aware, the whet stone expands when you soak it in warm water, this makes the bamboo holder obsolete because you cannot fit the rubber holder and stone inside the cut out. The rubber holder is good enough to grip the stone if used a flat surface.The flat leather strop is a pretty decent size.

Devo dire che mi ha sorpreso il rapporto qualità prezzo del prodotto.Ho usato tutti gli accessori, a parte il guanto, per rifare il filo di coltelli, scalpelli da falegname e pialle... serve del tempo, ma tutto tagliente come un rasoio!
