I did not have to break these darling shoes in. They are very comfortable. I put them on and wore them an entire day without so much as a pinch. They look cute with all my work outfits. They look dressy enough to be presentable at work, yet still a little casual; just the right balance between the two.

I think these shoes will be great for the summer dresses. I have large ankles. The strap will close on last hole. There is a little room to make another hole if needed. My ankle measurement is 11 and a half.

I had bought two pairs of these same shoes several years ago. They're very nice looking, can actually pass for dressy. The strap / buckle is a pain but not the worst thing in the world. The problem is they do not have enough height in the big toe area; they press down on the big toe (in my case, only on the left foot--so maybe the shape of my toe is to blame) and after a while they're very uncomfortable. I actually performed some surgery on one of my original pairs--cut out the piece in the very front of the toe so that it became a strappy open-toe sandal rather than a closed-toe shoe--and that was much better, although my skills as a surgeon leave something to be desired. When I ordered the same shoes this time I went up a half size, but still had the big toe problem. I'm trying to stretch the toe area and I'm hoping that will work. If not, I'll get my scalpel out again.

I love these shoes and bought them in three colors. They work perfect for me.

Liked the low heel. Disliked the leather upper. I have another pair of this brand that are soft leather. This leather is like plastic. It’s hard. My toe pokes through the end because of the way they are made.

It is very light

I have been looking for navy sandals for a very long time. I don't know why, but it's a very hard color to find. Most shoes that are blue are not navy. A few I've found are called navy, but are very light. These are a fairly dark navy. I like the fact that they have closed toes, so they can be worn with tights and not look strange. In addition, they hide my non-pedicured toes. I have bunions so really need rounded toes. The toes on these are very round, and there is plenty of room for my bunions. I have very high arches and have recently discovered that wedge heels work very well for me. These aren't exactly wedges, but the shape of the shoe gives good arch support. The heel is very stable. There is a reasonable amount of padding in the instep, which makes them more comfortable for standing or walking. I've only worn these once, but I was on my feet for a day of running errands and did not come home with painful feet. They are a bit on the clunky side, so I knocked off a star for style reasons. The price was quite reasonable. But I'm quite satisfied with these, certainly 'til I find ones I like better. But as I've looked at thousands, I know that won't be soon!

Very cute and flattering. They are a little long, but not so much that my feet are sliding around in the shoes. Overall, very happy with them.
