I often travel to Germany, if you have never been, they like to use very thick down comforters on the hotel beds. Being somewhat cold blooded, I was hoping to use this as a thinner outer blanket. Well, it is thin...... nearly transparent....... much too thin for that use. Another, much more significant issue; the product can only be cleaned by dry cleaning. Not one to often visit a cleaner, I find this very inconvenient. Will move on to another solution

Love the fact that this is longer than many other travel blankets, but the material wrinkles so quickly, that was a huge bust for me. There’s no way to stop it from looking like a crumpled mess. I travel from a cold climate to a hot climate frequently and liked the fact that is was thinner and therefore cooler in the tropics. A bit too thin for a cold plane, but the fact that it can be doubled and still cover you helps a lot. The bag is absolutely ridiculous as many reviewers stated. No matter how you fold it, it can’t fit. I really need a carrying case/bag for it, and have to find something else that would work. Still on the search for the perfect travel blanket. 🙁

Size, weight, softness were all great. Foot feature is nice. Travel bag is a joke because blanket doesn’t fit into it - great idea, but don’t be so skimpy on the fabric! Mine ripped minutes after receiving it due to me trying too hard to stuff it in - what a disappointment!!! Still will make a nice travel blanket, but ease of portability will be limited until I come up with way to easily transport it.

**UPDATE** I ordered a second blanket, and the sticker on the back simply says "New." (2nd Photo) I just received the blanket and opened it today. It is very lightweight, almost like "sarong "material, however the foot pockets seemed nice, and it seemed like it would be adequate to keep cool air off you during the flight. The issue I have with this item is it is "Used– Acceptable" it says, and nowhere is the item listed as "Used" under the description.The blanket itself appears to be good quality, but I need to know when I'm buying it if it's used or not-not after I buy it.

The material is so soft and lightweight. I accidentally washed it in hot water (I meant to wash it in cold) but I had placed it inside a mesh laundry bag. I thought I had ruined it with the hot water, but it was perfectly fine! I even dried it in the dryer on very low heat. Did not shrink, still soft, no damage, like new!

Advertised as "medium weight" but it is not. For reference, I threw the blanket over my lamp which has a 40-watt bulb with a white opaque plastic covering and as shown, the blanket is very thin in the picture. The quality, I feel, is very poor. I am concerned it will not hold up to multiple washings as well as wear and tear. The material is not soft and will not provide any warmth on a cold airplane. I tested this by standing under my air conditioning vent in the blanket did not do anything for me. Returning it.

The blanket is super soft bamboo cotton - not too heavy & not too light. It fits nicely into my carry-on and is the perfect size for me for airplane travel. It comes with a nice storage bag, but it does take a little finesse to roll it right to get it back in the bag. I also tried to using the bag's "snap loop" but it came right off the bag so I don't recommend that unless your hooking inside your back & just don't want it to move or lose it.

It's thin but enough. I like the foot pockets. My husband and I shared it on one of our flights and it covered our arms and upper legs. If you fold it into thirds it fits in the bag. Doesn't take up much room in your carry on.
