Shipped in its own box within another padded box--very good. Enclosed instructions are nothing to shout about, but I was following the Sienna manual, so didn't need that input. When putting this strut together with the corresponding strut mount before re-installing the whole assembly into the van, make sure that you properly mate the flats on the top of the shiny strut tube and the slot on the bottom of the hole in the strut mount (with the strut bearing in between, of course). It's hard to get the final torque on the top nut with the assembly out of the van, but if the tube and the mount are properly mated and tightened to the degree you can manage before installation, you can apply the final torque after installation, because the strut tube will not turn within the mount. So far, the van's ride with the new struts has been what I remember when the van was new. I 'm pleased. By the way, based on reviews elsewhere, I bought the new mounts from Moog, and they fit perfectly with the KYB struts. I 'm pleased with those choices.

These struts work great. The original struts had 160,000 miles on them and needed replacing. These KYB struts really improved the ride and handling of my Sienna. The ride is firm but not harsh. They reduced a vibration I was having at the front-end due to out of round brake rotors (soon to be replaced).These struts should be installed with "KYB SM5179 / SM5180 Strut Mount and Bearing" since the old Toyota strut mounts won't last long with these firmer struts. The only negative is that it raised the ride height about an inch. Overall, I am very happy with them.

Excellent product. Excellent shipper. I'd go with KYB every time over the "other guys". In all of the years that i've been working with KYB, I've never seen one fail.

it came on time and fits right on my 99' Toyota sienna. I would buy it again.
